it really doesn't matter. Its just the only vote in the next half month so the media is going nuts trying to sell it as a game changer so people will watch.

It really doesn't matter.

Only thing slighlty annoying is that the midwestern youth are looking to be more and more progressive cancer.

We knew he wasn't going to take it because of evangelicals again, just like utah, and he doesn't need to, but the fact that rato got less than 50% means Trump at least walks away with ~8 delegates.

If trump won, it would have been game over

As it stands now, he has to do very well in the Northeast states, he's currently doing very well in those states polls.

Basically if Trump can get 55% of the remaining delegates, he should win.

If it goes to brokered convention prepare to watch the GOP eat itself.
>>
Pretty badly to be honest senpai.

Wisconsin was the state that would have clinched it for Trump. Now he has to fight an uphill battle since the delegate math now becomes tight.

El rato shills lied and pretended el rato won it all, turns out he's losing momentum and has less than the votes necessary to sweep all the delegates.

It's not the first time they've used this tactic to discourage voters. Quite frankly it should be investigated as a crime.

Between a gay Canadian spy and an American who wants to keep illegals out of the country...

I'm guessing the GOP will just give it to Trump if he earns it. Yes they'd prefer Shlomo Shekelstein but I think another rich New Yorker will suffice.

First thing they do is divide the delegates away from the people who dropped out. This is how Obama got his numbers vs Shillary.

It's not good, that's for sure. Here's a breakdown of all the states he could still win and still end up short of the prerequisite number of delegates. Once that goes down, we enter brokered convention territory and all bets are off.
>>
>>70076805
Don't worry about it. Shills are out in full force like they were for Iowa.
>>
>>70077360
WI doesn't even have that many delegates to begin with, NY is the biggest one coming up and Trump will dominate there.

He only needs a little over half of the remaining delegates to get over the limit, and all of the upcoming states are very friendly to him.

The party picks a candidate to run, not the voters.
>>
>>70077716

It means the delegates are free to vote for who they want, meaning the party itself decides who wins.

>>
>>70077439
IF he gets the 1237 I think you are correct, but if he is a vote short I believe the GOP leadership would rather let Hilary win and alienate their voters than actually let an outsider like Trump (and even Cruz to an extent) take the reigns of the party.

They picked the last two republican presidential candidates and they turned out to be losers. The GOP thinks it can drum up enough fear about the prospect of Hillary to get their base vote for unpopular candidates. Honestly it's not a bad tactic, it worked for Bush II, the problem is it's stale now. People want to vote somebody they care about, and if it isn't Trump a lot of voters are just going o say fuck it and stay home.
>>
keep in mind, WI would never go to trump because they make their money by having illegal immigrants milk their cows. fuck WI and MN

If a candidate in a party can't get 50%+1 vote of the party members, it goes to convention and the party higher-ups pick their party candidate

Trump needs 489 more delegates to get to the magic 1237 number, and there are 772 delegates left, most of which are in VERY easy states for him to take. It's still more than likely he will get what he needs to avoid the convention.
>>

Yes. So literally anyone can be nominated (like Claire was) even though they aren't even in the running. And yes. It will be as dirty as it was on that show.

Fuck

55.9%, he needs 497 out of 888.
>>
>>70078339
No idea how constituencies work, but the central GOP assigns delegates to a state based on the number of congressional districts it has plus a few minor modifiers like if the whole state is republican or not, then the state's GOP HQ decides how to award delegates based on either winner-take-all system for the state, or proportionally based on votes.

It means that the pattern we've been seing emerge is much more solid now. States with agrarian economies will not be won by Trump. However, he will win the vast majority of states with service economies and he will win, in a landslide, all of the states that have been deindustrialized and deurbanized due to globalization.
>>
>>70078689
>>70078472
Cali and NY are the 2 largest of that, and he will sweep them no problem. Aside from that it's mostly NE states coming up, and again he sweeps those, which just leaves a few midwest states that it won't even matter if he takes.

>>70076958
The last time you retards fucked shit up in the 00's, I would have lost almost 800k in one day if I had not gotten a phonecall through with seconds to spare. It would have set me back years.

Also, he's still set to win the primary, but the general election is going to be a gruesome shit-flinging contest judging by how divided the Republican primary now is.

He'll come out as the victor, but there is still a good chance that it will go to a brokered convention.
Honestly, I think the GOP is desperate enough to give Hillary the win than let god-emperor Trump (peace be upon him) the nomination.
