No one will have the delegates to win the first ballot. Trump will still have the most and he will offer a credible threat of a third party run as a spoiler. The convention delegates will either be smart and hand him the nomination as the only person who can unite the party and bring in new voters, or he'll mount that third party run and that will make the race completely unpredictable.
