The r/k book and the whole theory of evolutionary psychology really put the nails into the coffin of pretty much everything.
Old "radtrad" stuff of the Catholic/Orthodox and Greek varieties have a lot of wisdom in it, too, as well as certain flavours of "fascism". The stuff in the pre-modern "edgy" books is written off as "irrational male violent authoritarian instincts" and "religious superstition", but if you look at what little leftist stuff existed in that pre-modern time, it wasn't any less mysticist, generally more mysticist. The "Enlightenment" made gains because of prosperity from technology and "muh scientific revolution" (which was independent of the "enlightenment"), but stuff like Rousseau and so on are either based on wishy-washy cosmologies or dumb thought experiments forced into reality's neghole.

Centrist rings true to some extent. The right overvalues tradition. The left overvalues change, to the extent of forcing it.

Technocratic is true in the sense that I want the country run by the informed and technically minded. Don't agree with the definition of it that means 'people who are politically successful' are technically capable.
