I don't understand why it's seen as stupid for taking a military job. It's no less risky than delivering pizzas or being a truck driver and you get to travel/satisfy your bloodlust against muslims.

I'd appreciate it more if I actually trusted our government. To many talented men are forced into the military because they see no other option except to be shamed by society for being poor. The military brainwashed them and strips them of the humanity that made them great in the first place. These kids should have had more opportunities in the real world. We lose so many of our best and brightest to the military and it all just dumbs down the population as a whole. 21st century America has no culture.
