The myth is that its solvable

My father was a geologist. One night years ago when people first started talking about global warming he sat me down.
He explained to me that there is evidence in the layers of the earth that there are different periods of global warming and global cooling. I've never personally done much research into it, but if you want to yourself, I would recommend going through geology stuff. I remember him showing me some proof of it, I just can't remember the papers or anything.
He died of cancer in his early seventies so unfortunately I can't ask him.

public funding goes to those who scream the loudest about it, so many scientists are shilling the ever living shit out of climate change to try and secure research grants from the government.

there's also the economic aspect of it too, where a business that sells "green energy" related products has a huge market advantage over those that aren't "green."
