I think it's a tool that seems to either work in practice or not cause much harm, which is strange because in theory, government spending should never be able to increase consumer demand. In general, like Eugene Fama, I'm skeptical that the Federal Reserve's actions actually affect the economy, and it is more likely that the Federal Reserve is reacting to try to keep up with the economy. I'm studying for the lsat now.
Got 171 on a timed practice test. Good enough to get into Yale law if I can replicate that on test day (big if).
It actually correlates well with my verbal SAT (740 first attempt, 780 second putting me in the top 1% for that section).
My math was less good and my writing section was crap. If we were going by the old SAT standards I would've gotten a 1420/1600. Good enough for Harvard back in the early 90s.
Doing well at standardized reading comprehension tests is a very niche and generally useless skillset. Hopefully I can parlay it into something better because I really am not very good at much else.
