Lady I rented a house from required perfect credit. Even a single late payment five years ago would disqualify you. Said she never rented to a black person even though she owned a dozen rental properties and the city had a large black population. That some whites were eliminated didn't bother her since there were enough white renters with perfect credit that she rarely had an empty property.
