What's going to happen if Bernie is the Dem Nominee?

How will Trump beat him?
>>
>>69958806
Bernie won't be the democratic nominee
>>
>>69958906
Why is that? How can you be so certain? He has been getting a lot of wins recently
>>
>>69958806

Clinton stole Iowa from him with six coin tosses and other shenanigans

it was over at that point
>>
>>69959000
>winning Alaska, Utah, and Hawaii

haha, okay
>>
>>69959000
She will literally poison him.
>>
>>69958806
If Bernie is the Dem nominee, he wins. Period.

>>69959067
And he retroactively won Nevada. What's your point?

>>69959087
He won five of the last six contests by crushing numbers, and it's probably going to happen again in Wisconsin.
>>
>>69959067
This to an extent

As a Bernie supporter I had a feeling deep inside losing Iowa would cost us, I genuinely beleive if he won Iowa he'd be behind 50 instead of 200
>>
>>69959307
>winning Alaska by crushing numbers

yeah, all 6 delegates he picked up there will be really useful.

Meanwhile, Clinton and Sanders are on track to tie in Wisconsin just like every other state. Given that Democratic primaries are proportional, that doesn't help him at all.

And then Clinton CRUSHES him in big, delegate rich states like New York and Maryland.
>>
>>69959318

He did win Iowa which is why the DNC stole it from him.

Same reason why Cruz was able to steal it from Trump.

Both parties know it's basically game-over for the outsider in Iowa

So both times shenanigans were used
>>
>>69958806
He can't win at this point unless you utilize Reddit math to predict it
>>
>>69958806
trump will lose. so we need to shill for hillary
>>
>>69959447
Don't believe the polls. If March has taught us anything, it's that they're practically worthless in this race.

Also don't forget that Sanders is literally from Brooklyn, and that New York has a lot of liberals.
>>
>>69958806
I really think Trump would have an easier time beating Bernie than Hillary.
Hillary can pull the victim card when Trump starts attacking her, and she actually has experience as a politician.
Bernie hasn't ever held a real job. He wants to raise taxes above 50%. He has declared himself a socialist. He can't handle banter. And his supporters are embarrassments.
That tax hike is going to fuck him so hard. Most Americans don't have any idea. When Trump rubs their face in it, they will be pissed.
>>
>>69959461
The thing is it's all about public perception. You could argue Obama losing Iowa=President Clinton or McCain

If he won Iowa by even 1 AND NH by the same margin the momentum would be way bigger
>>69959447
He'll lose Maryland big, and I don't think he'll win the nom, but don't be suprised if he pulls off some meme magic in NY
>>
Easily, he's the one person running less electable than Donald Trump. If you think an old jew promising free shit is going to get elected outside Vermont you need to go back to eddit.
>>
>>69959671
>less electable
>consistently has the best polling numbers vs all GOP candidates

Looks like we got ourselves a shill trying to camouflage.

another shoah, goyim.
Make sure to vote for Bernie 'The Jew' Sanders.
>>
>>69959000

Because it's mathematically impossible for Bernie to catch up to Hillary at this point.

Some very specific things would have had to have happen for Bernie to take the lead and at this point it's too late for less the gap.

Bernie is waiting for a hail mary that isn't coming.
>>
>>69958806
Easily.
>>

>trusting polls with sample sizes of less than 1,000

They're literally meaningless.
>>
If Bernie is the nominee (which i highly doubt), and if Trump is NOT nominated and if he doesn't run as an independent then i'll cast a vote for bernie. i dont agree with bernies socialist polices nor do i like his whole catering to sjws and he isn't pro gun. but bernie wants to bring some good (criminal reform, domestic policy reform, etc).

however, ill be voting for whoever is the libertarian party candidate, if trump or sanders are not nominated. and i recommend that others do the same thing. we gotta revolution and im sure bernie bots and trumpkins will agree to some point with the libertarians, they have something for everybody. who knows, maybe a libertarian can take a few states. after all the baby boomers are dying off and people are open to the idea of another party coming in to shake the system.
>>
>>69958806

Clinton hasn't dragged out the skeletons from his closet since most of them wouldn't do her much good. The only major one that has been brought up is that video of him praising Castro and, unsurprisingly, his numbers got significantly worse in Florida afterward. With that we all saw that socialism is still unpopular among the electorate and such attacks/reminders are effective.

So, bring up everything: His honeymoon in the Soviet Union, the Soviet flag in his mayoral office, his support of the Sandinistas, etc. Also bring up how much he has been disliked for his entire tenure in Congress due to his behavior, how he has had no success in life outside of being a politician, how badly he has mishandled his funds despite healthy Rep/Senator paychecks (he's swamped by personal debt), how his son refuses interact with him since he was a deadbeat father.

Sanders is the easiest candidate to go against in this cycle as long as you can take the gloves off against him. Hillary can't because she doesn't want to alienate all of his supporters. The Republicans, however, do not have that problem.
>>
>>69960058
It's not that it's mathematically *impossible*, it's that it's *improbable*. Unless he does well in late April he doesn't have a chance in catching up
>>69960096
Not really, most state polls only peak at 800 voters

>>
>>69958806
Trump won't beat him. Once Shillary is in prison and it's just him and Bernie he'll invite the old man in as his VP just for lulz. There won't even be an election.
>>
run his "breadlines are a good thing" quote on repeat, proceed to take 99% of the vote
>>
>>69960240
Oh don't worry, no chance in hell us Bernie supporters are voting Hillary. I prefer Green party, but I wouldn't hold it against anyone to vote Libertarian
>>
>>69960251
She can't "drag out the skeletons from his closet" because just about anything she does of the sort will hurt her image or just end up being something he can flip on her.

By being an honest and for the people sort of candidate, he can effectively reverse most attacks against him by having a better voting record than the attacker. This is the kind of advantage that hardly anyone has anymore.
>>
>>69960262

Short of Hillary going to jail or MIB dudes mind wiping super delegates it's not going to happen dude.

I think Bernie is staying in the game to use as leverage to force Hillary to make him the Vice President nominee.

More like there isn't a point in attacking him for being a Castro/Soviet Union fan when the core of his supporters are campus communists. Such attacks won't get her anywhere and will just further galvanize his supporters. It's better to wait it out and let other outlets attack him when appropriate, such as the debate in Miami when they played that video.

All of the sane older people in this country will vote for trump if that is the case. Bernie's policy makes trump look like a moderate.
>>
>>69961235
Good point
>>
>>69959000
He won't. I support Bernie, and it's been obvious for a long time that he won't get the nomination. Democrats award delegates proportionally, so even if he wins a state with 51%, he only gets 51% of the delegates, and Clinton maintains her lead. He needs to win by huge margins to get back in contention, and all the biggest states favor Clinton.

But it doesn't really matter to me because I like both Clinton and Sanders. I voted for Sanders because I wanted to support the long-shot, but I have absolutely no problem with a Clinton nominee. At this point, I'm actually hoping Trump wins the nomination, because he has no chance in the general election. I think Rubio was the only candidate the Republicans had who could have actually succeeded in the Presidential race, but now they're shit outta luck. This year is going to be a layup for the Dems.
>>
It will be Cruz vs Sanders. Sanders will win by a landslide.

I am. At least partially. I prefer Sanders but I don't mind Clinton at all. I respect her long track record in politics, especially as Secretary of State. No one else in this race has as much foreign relations experience as Clinton, and I think that's a pretty big deal for the Presidency.

She comes off to me as a Democrat who can get shit done. Her domestic policy isn't as pie-in-the-sky as Sanders, but it's definitely progressive, and I think she has the strongest foreign policy plan as well. Bullshit like Benghazi and Emailgate have never really fazed me, and always left the impression that Republicans were just out fishing for something to get outraged about.

And I'm not a die-hard liberal. I consider myself center-left, but I'd certainly vote for a Republican if they weren't insane. Jeb Bush and Chris Christie were about the only good Republicans this year, though. Everyone else is a fucking nutjob.

>consistently has the best polling numbers vs all GOP candidates

It's because he hasn't been attacked yet in any meaningful way. Clinton has been playing a soft ball campaign against him yet he still cries foul every time something is thrown at him. That and his 180 on running a purely positive campaign over the past month makes him come off as a sniveling bitch which has caused his favorables to drop from 60% to 48% over that same time span. He's doomed in a general election when his opponent won't go easy on him.

http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/gen-z-bernie-sanders-answers-the-how-policy-making

>The Iowa caucuses tonight will turn on a number of factors: Will the unseasonably warm weather hold up? Which campaigns have the strongest ground game? And will turnout be closer to the lackluster result in 2004 or the record finish in 2008? For Bernie Sanders, it could also come down to whether his supporters, particularly his disproportionately young fans, turn out.

>“Well, everyone talks about the younger voter,” said David Stillman, a researcher who launched a national research project this year with his son Jonah studying young Americans, including their priorities in the coming elections.

>“Everyone just assumes they’re millennials. What we’ve uncovered is there is a whole new generation that started in 1995 – Gen Z, so the leading age is 21 … [who are] voting for the first time. So Jonah and I came down to Iowa to see what’s on their mind. What are they thinking about when it comes to politics?”

I'm quite aware of what a superdelegate is.

However, what you've done is attempted to divert to a Clinton defense in response to a comment about poll data.

You also have chosen to omit that superdelegates have a tendency to switch to whoever wins the actual primary without their votes. It's really just an empty threat that the DNC likes to wave in front of us that they can control the nominee, but this time more than ever the backlash would be catastrophic to the continued future of the party. They can't and won't do it in the end if he defeats Hillary.

>>
>>69963400
Superdelegates are political figures from the Democratic party that cast their vote at the end of the primary on top of the actual delegates. In this case, this is a facebook conversation between a voter and a superdelegate that is one of their state representatives who is currently intending to cast his vote in a way that does not reflect what his constituents actually want.

Some of those are big word for ten-year-olds, but I think you can understand that.

The DNC implemented this measure far into the twentieth century in order to have some level of control over the candidates, so that the people couldn't vote in a "weak candidate" during the primary. That sure didn't stop them from having weak candidates immediately following, so now they just use it to act like they can take the process hostage, even though actually following through on it would cause voter faith in the party to plummet to all-time lows which they won't risk.

My high school required more than one course on managing your checkbooks, how to fill out a job application, various investment methods...
Mind you, we all hated the classes, but I at least have some working knowledge to go off of.

It's also not even nearly as much that the public schools are trying to make you need them as much as the companies that produce tests and related materials have a death grip on our system. As someone with an education degree who has been in schools with a wide variety of different levels of funding, the most common detriment is surprisingly that so much time is spent preparing to take tests that don't even effect grades, when that time could be spent doing practical applications of the subjects being taught in order to demonstrate the material broadly and with real meaning.

Also, we should stop perpetuating that college is the only good option. There is nothing wrong with working for a living and trades are an excellent alternative.

this

There have been times when the young have "come on in for the big win", but never usurped agedfags as a voting bloc.
>>
>>69970294
I hope you're not being sincere. You should check all of the data coming in from polls and coming out in exit polls. He has more of the youth vote than most of the other candidates combined. How much they are voting compared to the older voters is definitely up for some deliberation, but to suggest that they are the outnumbered ones simply isn't true. If the majority of youth ages 18-35 all voted then the nomination would be squarely his, pretty much no contest.
>>
>>69960251
The thing is that personal attacks have zero traction against someone who is all about policy. Everything can be deflected with "I was too busy fighting for [thing] to worry about trivial personal problems". And it's actually true for hernie, he was out there during the civil rights protesting for dindus era etc.

You have to attack him on policy to win, but the problem with that is most of his platform is shit everyone except corrupt politicians agrees with. So you've got to pick specific things to attack and avoid attacking common sense policies like finance reform. That's why Trump wants to fight Clinton instead of him. He's a huge pain in the ass to fight and if you fuck up you fuck yourself over as we see Clinton doing already.

Hernie Panders is losing badly. It's true that superdelegates usually switch to the winning candidate, but hernie is losing. Why do you commies keep bringing it up as if it's of any relevance to your kike candidate? He's a loser. Losers don't get superdelegates.

I'm a Trump man because I'm about 99% sure Bernie can't win the nomination.

HOWEVER...if Bernie does somehow miraculously pull the Democratic nomination out of his ass, I'm changing sides.

I like the idea of Trump being a monkey wrench in the works and so on, but Bernie, OMG, yes I want to INFLICT him on Washington D.C. and Wall Street like a fucking chronic disease, oh yes.

Won't happen. But if it does...

Trump will just bait the attack. Sanders can't resist. He'll call him a bigot or something in the first week after getting the nomination and then Trump would destroy him. This is standard for America, this group has done a number of polls and other groups have more or less the same methods. It's pretty much all over the phone with adults who are likely to vote. They don't get paid to interview kids, they get paid to record trends among voters and likely voters.

I think that's you. She never said which state she was from. Therefore you can't suggest that she must vote on which candidate won in her state. Besides, why should a superdelegate base their decision on state? Why shouldn't it be based on popular vote overall?

From last month, there are figures on Hernie's support in regards to age demographics in there. Much more on their website. Like every other pollster, they call and try to do a phone interview. "Metcalfe, who is listed on the Alaska Democratic Party website as the state’s national committeewoman since 2012,"

http://usuncut.com/politics/alaska-superdelegate/

I've never once said he was winning the national popularity vote. He wasn't. Except in the state where she fucking works/votes. The state, which I have several times mentioned, is directly connected to her position as a super delegate and politician. To ignore that on her part is not illegal or even against the rules. It's disengenious and frowned upon. It supersedes the position her fellows have taken.

Sure it is more on par with the national opinion atm but then it's a question of putting nation before state.
