I say that most of what he is proposing is basic common sense. He's noticing the problems Europe is having with their Muslim population. It's not that all the Muslims are Jihadists, or that all the immigrants are ISIS. The problem is that they don't integrate into society like everyone else. A very large percentage of them actually want Sharia law, they don't want to live in a western secular society. That doesn't make them terrible people, it just means they are not compatible with our society. It makes a lot more sense to do what we can to create safe zones over there so we don't have to bring them into the United States.
Illegal immigration is another huge fucking problem and no one is wiling to deal with it because there's too much money in cheap labor. It makes no sense for legal immigration to be such a long drawn out process when someone with a criminal record can just illegally hop across the border. We need policies that keep out the bad and let in the good. We do the opposite.

I am very public about it. Even just had a first date a week or two ago where my support for him got brought up. She's stuck around since and says that while she doesn't necessarily agree with me, she respects my knowledge on him and the research I've done.
I wear my MAGA hat on occasion (I'd wear it more but the trucker hat is really just not a good style), and have actually been disappointed I haven't had anyone comment either negatively or positively.
I often get in arguments on facebook with people over him, but I haven't seemed to have lost any friends over it. I work in a warehouse so naturally it's no problem bringing Trump up at work.

As soon as the convesation starts where i suspect Trump MAY be the subject i try to say "i dont want to like Trump but i do" as soon as its reasonable so it doesn't look like im trying to hide anything and its not really held against me as much since i stated i dont want to like him. If the person mocks me i just shrug and make a joke, if they inquire why i like Trump i tell them the truth and say i see him as a lesser evil. Depending on the person i'll have 2 explanations.
If they're a little ghetto i tell them although Trump is an asshole he's the strongest and i'll bring up how Bernie got cucked several times. Family, friend coworkers. If I wore a Trump shirt down in the ghetto, I'd get jumped by dindus. Family and friends don't need to be explained, as for coworkers. They were talking about Hillary and Bernie when they asked me who I was voting for, and I told them Trump.
I'm known as the hard working level headed guy in the work place, so they all started asking my opinions. Things like; The Wall, immigration, deportation, health insurance, economy. Their questions were not aimed at demeaning me, but rather trying to understand what Trump wanted. They all had brain washed liberal views on the very questions they asked. It was funny how they were skeptic about Trump, yetthey didn't even know their own candidate's stance on matters. For example; one guy literally didn't know his taxes were going to be raised by $3k a year to pay for Bernie's free stuff.
They were especially shocked since I'm also a US citizen from immigrant parents. I gave them facts, statistics and numbers. I don't think I changed their minds on their votes, but I at least proved that Trump isn't a hate mongering racist. Baby steps, if they aren't hating Trump on a whim, then they'll be more accepting to the idea of Trump being president. Liberal media is the enemy here, not the people.

They say he's racist, they say something about his hair and they say he's sexist.
So I explain to them how the media lied to them, and I make a point that media shouldn't be trusted. Once I get that in their head I tell them that I love Trump and hope he wins.
What makes people uncomfortable is that they don't want to know they're being lied to. They've read nothing but negative shit about Trump and it's very uncomfortable to point out specific cases where the media lied to them and they believed it without question.

I present to her stats showing her what cancer Islam is, says it is biased and false therefore because all stats have an agenda. I tell her of actual happenings like curfews due to high rape risk or rotherham, she doesn't care because europe is irrelevant to america.
I was hoping to wait till the end of april to break it off, more shit to throw at her if she forgot my birthday but I guess it might come tomorrow.
