Crime stats aren't just numbers though, one of the ways "lying with statistics" works is by doing it based off of sample sizes, however the crimes stats are the total amount of crime in the US, not a small amount. The other big way of lying is with charts, but 13% isn't a chart, it's a hard real thing, not something that can be misread.

Funny thing is almost always I'm accused of being a Communist. Which is very funny, because I would say I'm upper middle class (parents own Steel factory but I'm no Vanderbilt) and all I'm saying is that my interests are not the same as the workers in the factory and they usually come into conflict with them.
