i love both of your countries for different reasons.
israel:
- great music scene (especially jazz)
- topnotch food culture (huge mix of different mideast and mediterranean influences)
- semi-dystopic capitalist society (really entertaining, kind of like america)
- compulsory military service (builds character)
- allows faggots to go about their business but still won't let them get married or adopt (perfect stance in this day and age)
- keeps their black and muslim populations in check through police brutality (A+)
- allows mideast christians, bahai, druze and other oft-overlooked religious communities the freedom to establish themselves in the country (peacefully and with the same rights, so long as they're not palestinians / palestinian sympathizers)
- fends off a hostile anti-nationalist entity with extreme prejudice and occasional carpet bombing (really the only way, but wish they could do it harder)
palestine:
- the handful of christians that still hang out there are pretty cool
- falafel and hummus in the west bank is fucking killer
- palestinians would pick me up when i needed to hitch rides all the time (they were probably cool to me because i'm not jewish and would pretend i was canadian)
- severely dystopic hellscape in gaza (mad max was a cool movie)
- the rich palestinians in the west bank drive mercedes around like bosses and build really big mansions
also, both of your countries are great examples for why every single country on the planet needs to be isolationist.
