Not necessarily if they kept them, but if decolonisation hadn't been such a clusterfuck. Malaya was handled pretty well with getting rid of the communists first while guaranteeing eventual independence, and continuing support after Merdeka e.g. against Indonesia.
Africa was of course different since everyone, including the Africans, treated it as one blob, so you had Kwame Nkruma fomenting independence movements after he gained it for Ghana, while situations in individual countries across the continent were very different from theirs. Redrawing the colonial borders there would have helped as well, even if it was just within the colonies controlled by a certain European power. This could have had a knock-on effect where others would do the same and eventually ethnicities seperated by colonial borders between European powers unified of their own accord.
The decolonisation of the West Indies was definitely a mistake. With the possible exception of Jamaica, they are simply too small to stand on their own, and Jamaica itself has now spiraled into a cesspit of corruption and violence, though the roots of this lie before decolonisation was even considered.

desu I think she's just happy enough to have ruled as long as she has. I'm pretty sure she still has the power to dismiss any plans that parliament puts through. She spends a lot of time visiting people. She does a lot for this country even if she isn't deciding the rules.
