> legalize heroin and shit
> make a market for it
> tax the shit out of imports
> no one wants to sell it in America anymore
Why can't we do this to stop the cartels?

Who are you quoting?
Heroin is bad mmk

>Why can't we do this to stop the cartels?
Maybe because then they will keep smuggling cheap heroin into the US for this reason, m80?
> tax the shit out of imports

Because then the corporate shills can't get their hands on you money, murrica goyim
We need to keep it illegal to keep the prison and criminal charge money going.
Without the drug war, how would you make money from the poor?
We're already seeing a major opiate problem developing in middle class America on account of big pharma pushing painkillers for everything. Why would we want to make the problem in our country worse in order to get rid of a problem that primarily affects Mexico?

people are already starting to change the way they treat people caught with heroin. In my town they arent charged with felonies or jailed, Instead they are sent to rehab and put into counseling programs.
An age of legalization and better education is around the corner. America never used to criminalize drugs like pot and amphetamines, it was the communities that didnt see any value in it.
hopefully people start to understand that laws only push certain incentives, its how communities react to regulation or lack therof that determines whats successful or good for the state
Because prohibition 2.0 is a boon for police unions, prison guard unions, lawyers, the police state, the prison industrial complex, and give the government a justification to violate the rights of it's citizens.
Prohibition isn't going anywhere. It'd take a whole collapse of our civilization to dislodge these entrenched ticks.

Synthetic opioid manufacturers will bride or destroy any politician who advocates for this kind of legalization.
I see the game here; That's what people say about any and every amenity every socialist country has, that Americans are forced to paid out the ass and under the table for.

People make money from waging a war on drugs. That and it's quite an unpopular opinion to let people ruin themselves by using hard drugs!
I completely agree with you though, some folks are retarded beyond comprehension and will sniff glue or will destroy themselves with alcohol. I'd allow all that shit and tax the fuck out of it. Less scummy shitskins making money out of it while governments or legit businesses could make the use of "safer" and more manageable.

this

Because we make so much money off oxycontin
>>69899186
>Not punishing people pushing hard drugs
I like the roving death vans idea where we stop jailing drugies and just kill them and their dealers
There is no positives gain from recreational use of shit like Heroin, or allowing people to use it except as a method to weed out those who have no place on this earth

I think pharma drugs should be legal and as cheap as beer, wine or liquor and they should devise non-intravenous delivery.
Who doesn't want to come home from work and have 3-4mg of dilaudid?
Cause heroin is a terrible life ruining drug, and that's coming from a pot head.
