i remember this show a few years back they took three women, one who worked out every day but kept her skin cosmetic free (sunscreen only), some normal woman who applies basic commercial products, and some rich bitch who spends a fuck ton of money on skin care
the one who worked out and went au naturel had the worst skin after 10 years by like 2x the other women. the one who spent a lot of money on skin care and cosmetics had the best skin.

i think it's personally down to genetics. i had great skin, didn't smoke, eat a lot of fish, kept on vitamins, up until 30 and then suddenly i looked like my fucking mother, who also has the same habits and really just looks fucking awful regardless
