I watched some as a kid and I think it gave me autism.
As with any form of media, there are a some gems, a LOT of mediocre stuff, and a LOT of trash.
Watch the good stuff, ignore everything else, and avoid "anime fans" like they have the fucking plague.
Also, as an observation, because the anime industry isn't controlled by the west/jews, there are some really redpilled as fuck anime that are not afraid to say what everyone knows but tries to ignore. Japs don't really give a fuck about political correctness or diversity or w/e.

Anime, for the most part, is degenerate garbage. Like I'll give a pass to some anime, where if the plot was rewritten for a live action tv show, it would be watchable. But most anime is weird fucking cartoons that revolve around teenage girls in high school. It's made for virgin man-children and adolescent girls.
