Conscription was fun 12months of camping, shooting, playing war with simulators, learning tactics and skills. All in all pretty nice times.
The common mentality towards doing the time is that its just one of our duties as citizens so most people have no real problem with it.
Most people i was there with would really fight for the country so we where motivated and no one quit or really complained about the day to day duties.
