How do you create a magnetosphere with a frozen core?
Where do you find all that water with hydrogen mostly gone?
This planet is shit. Better colonize Venus's atmosphere ... or settle on Jupiter's moons where there's plently of water and Jupiter's magnetosphere protecting everything around.
>>
>>69857795

Just pointed out some things you would need. Never said it was possible, like OP's pipedream.

I like the idea of Saturn myself, floating cities underneath a nice magnetic field at a cozy 1.07G and 1 bar.
>>
>>69857991

Venus would be a hell of a terraforming challenge.. corrosive, high pressure... sounds expensive.

I would create a military society on the southern shore of the Hellas Basin. We would fight aliens for control of the Hellespontos County buffer zone and destroy degeneracy while reclaiming the red sands of glorious mother Mars from the whores and traitors that threaten to sell her to off world influences.

The Overlord shall make Mars great again.

Anyone who promotes Feminism and restrictions to words and phrases is taken out back and gunned down. Nobody allowed unless they're either catholic Christian or moderate athiest. Need to be white, no shitskins or jews or even the disabled (people with autism, down syndrome etc). We denounce Rothschild currency and use martian credits from now on and our primary goals will focus on Science, education and military force to expand our conquest into the Galaxy abandoning the shithole known as Earth.
>>
>>69857314
First of all, mars is shit-tier. No amount of terraforming can make it suitable for colonization. It's too small. Its gravity is too weak and would lead to all kinds of physiological defects long-term. It also therefore has no active core or magnetosphere, which prevents us from ever making a legitimate atmosphere, since the solar winds would literally blow it the fuck out again.

The most feasible colonies in our solar system would probably have to be cloud cities on either venus or one of the gas giants.

Having said that, >>69857359 is right. Just take a look at literally any movement in history. Whether it's communism or objectivism or feminism or neoconservatism or social justice or the civil rights movement or blah blah blah. Literally every single time, it was co-opted early on by jews and steered the way they wanted it. Everywhere they go, they find little cracks in society that they can exploit to their bidding, whether socially or economically. There is a fucking reason they've been expelled from various parts of europe like 100 different times over the years. Shit, the jews are even in the process of co-opting the "alt-right" as we speak, even though the alt-right is explicitly antisemitic. THAT'S HOW FUCKING GOOD THEY ARE AT WORMING THEIR WAY INTO THESE THINGS.

A space civilization without jews would be fucking glorious.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympic_Games#Amateurism_and_professionalism

"The ethos of the aristocracy as exemplified in the English public school greatly influenced Pierre de Coubertin.[139] The public schools subscribed to the belief that sport formed an important part of education, an attitude summed up in the saying mens sana in corpore sano, a sound mind in a sound body. In this ethos, a gentleman was one who became an all-rounder, not the best at one specific thing. There was also a prevailing concept of fairness, in which practicing or training was considered tantamount to cheating.[139] Those who practiced a sport professionally were considered to have an unfair advantage over those who practiced it merely as a hobby.[139]"

"As class structure evolved through the 20th century, the definition of the amateur athlete as an aristocratic gentleman became outdated.[139] The advent of the state-sponsored "full-time amateur athlete" of the Eastern Bloc countries further eroded the ideology of the pure amateur, as it put the self-financed amateurs of the Western countries at a disadvantage. Nevertheless, the IOC held to the traditional rules regarding amateurism.[142] Beginning in the 1970s, amateurism requirements were gradually phased out of the Olympic Charter"

Basically after WWII everything went to shit.

>>69858210
You could live floating in the clouds, actually. You'd still need environmental control because the outside air would fucking kill you, but high in the sky, it'd be 1 atm of pressure and the cities could actually be buoyant.

I've heard people talk about sequestering carbon dioxide from the venereal atmosphere to eventually make it more earth like. No idea if THAT is actually realistic.

It has the highest volcanoes (since there was no plate tectonics moving the crust) but they are permanently inactive.
>>
>>69858210
The upper atmosphere of Venus is actually relatively habitable. Relatively low temperatures, 1 earth atmosphere of pressure, and breathable air is a lifting gas. The big problem is are like you said corrosive atmosphere and to a lesser extent no real day night cycle although the winds at the equator circle the planet continuously every four days.

Long term terraforming would be difficult but possible since Venus isn't geologically dead.

>>
>>69857503
Until they open the floodgates for those dirty terran refugees.
>>
>>69858539
Sequestering carbon would be relatively easy compared to the problem of increasing Venus' rotational speed.

>>69858752
Gravity on Venus is something like .9g. Carbon composites would probably be the go to material since it would be one of the only abundant resources and as far as I know won't corrode.

Hmmm, yeah would have to check out just how much of the sulfuric and fluorine compounds are at 50km altitude, might not be a huge issue if they're lower.
>>
>>69858935
Oh shit, you're right. I forgot that venus has that weird retrograde rotation so the days last longer than the years.

Although it's really not THAT big of a deal. The atmosphere scatters sunlight into a dim hazy glimmer and it's the same temperature all around the planet anyway. And even then, we're talking cloud cities, so you could just have the cities fly around to simulate a day/night cycle if you really needed one instead of just using shutters set on a 24hr schedule
>>
>>69857314
I would make it so that every human could instantly kill any other human with just a power of thought, but the fact and the location of the murder would become known to every other human on the planet, plus there is a cooldown period of ten minutes every time you do that. The society would adapt rather quickly, I'd expect, and when it had, it would be a better world.

>>69859292
I think it's mostly CO2 at that altitude but don't quote me on that.

>>69859404
There are actually constant atmospheric currents that circle the planet about every 4 days so that would be one way to have a day/night cycle. Alternatively you could just simulate one since your habitats will be closed environments.

They'd have to be heavily shielded anyway, so any day/night cycle would probably be fully simulated. Very weak magnetic field caused by interactions of solar radiation with the atmosphere, nothing like Earth, Jupiter, Saturn or even Mercury.

>>
>>69859846
>How would you jump start an active core on mars?
You basically don't. To restart Mars' core you'd basically have to recreate a planet formation event and impact it with enough mass and energy to turn the planet back into a completely molten rock and wait for the surface to cool. Once you factor in having to actually move asteroids to Mars doing this would be about as hard as making a planet from scratch where the asteroids already are.

>>69860160
Think about a zeppelin m8. It works exactly the same way only bigger and a lot better since Venus' atmosphere is so dense.
>>
>>69859706
Lower atmosphere is supercritical carbon dioxide, very dense (90 bar) and with high thermal conduction. Would be like a shitty firecracker, very weak.
>>
>>69857314

put all funding into eugenics

>>
>>69860284
Oh right that makes sense.
>>
>>69857314
Would introduce sharia straight away to avoid degeneracy.
>>
>>69860160

You could do smaller habs with current technology, but city scale would require future superstrong materials.

I believe NASA did some calculations for balloons on the gas giants a while back.. Jupiter was 100kg something mass per 10kg lifted and Saturn was like 220kg per 10kg... but basically, the concept is lighter than air structures in the gas giant atmosphere at 1G or so.
>>
>>69859706
Or you could just check out the the test nukes we've detonated in the water, like at bikini atoll, iirc.

>>69859789
How feasible would a cloud city in jupiter's atmosphere be? I'm honestly not sure what the gravity would be like at the distance required for a 1atm pressure.

Although even if that did work out, not sure how a colony would be sustainable, as I'm pretty sure the only things to mine from jupiter's atmosphere would be hydrogen and helium, mostly.
>>
>>69860160
Venereal atmosphere is dense as fuck, m8. It's more like a gaseous sea than an atmosphere like we're used to. A 1atm environment would float, just like a ship on water.
>>
>>69860458

Something like 0.987 atm and 1.07Gs and like -140 celsius

Shitloads of hydrogen too.

no islam or white ppl, being fat will be a stigma and art is only considered art if it mirrors nature
>>
>>69860284

So it is indeed a mass problem right? No small planets can have sustained molten cores?
>>
>>69860753
They can at one point Mars' core was molten and it was very geologically active but it has since cooled.
>>
>>69857314
Um... when was the FIRST downfall?
>>
>>69860753

Park one close enough to a stellar body and you could keep it molten.

Probably have to spend a lot of money each year on sunscreen lotion though.
>>
lets face the facts here

mars was turned sterile due to a solar flair

earth had more water and recovered

humans will die on earth

(the galexy thanks you usa) for wipping out the race MURICAAAA kill everything and anything for money power !!! greeeddd

why go to other planets?

we need an entirely different social construct then we have had for the past +2000 years

so why go populate another planet so we can birth nsa 2.0 and oil companies and monster corperations rule life as we know it
>>
>>69860743
That cold? For some reason I was under the impression that jupiter was at least a little warmer due to whatever goes on in the interior.

No heavy elements means it'd be impossible to build anything, and everything would need to be imported and recycled. Not very practical. Oh well; jupiter colony would've been bad ass.

>>
>>69860901

But you see that is a problem, Earths core lifespan is longer than our suns. I'm curious because this would severely limit the potential of life should planets lack the mass to maintain a molten core.

This mean not super massive life forms since gravity is a limiter.
>>
>>69861037

I was listing Saturn stats, dunno bout Jupiter, I know if has a fucking dynamo of a magnetic field, so lots of power generation possibilities.

All of the supergiant moons could be a great source of building materials, I'd start colonies there first with an eye toward floating cities later.

>>
>>69861201
Why are they behind everything? Everyone has their own theories. I personally think it's just in their nature, and it's not some unified move to subvert everything. You spend thousands of years of exclusive/selective breeding while being a constantly exiled outgroup and you're bound to exhibit something that could be considered a pathopsychological quirk.

You can just look up any movements throughout modern history and see that jews are always disproportionately represented. All the bolshevik leaders except stalin were jews. All the leaders of the failed communist overthrow in post-WWI germany were jews. All the ancaps and objectivists are jews. All the neocons are run by jews. Jews are disproportionately represented in feminism and SJW. Disproportionately represented in the media.

Doesn't seem to matter what direction a particular ideology leans; jews will wiggle their way in
