I think their endgame is to create a geopolitical situation where there is no "need" for conflict, or at least armed conflict. Like other anons have said, the "globalization" idea that's taken root these last few decades is probably to create a Pan-Humanity culture where everyone is the same and "equal". Of course, the ruling class will be more equal than the proles.
I think George Orwell got it right about the power structure, but I don't think it will exactly be a police state like he envisioned. If any of you have read Larry Niven's work, I'd imagine that the NWO's endgame would look something like that. 99% of humanity would be an olive-toned, dark haired race with slightly Asiatic folds on their eyes. Most people would be irreligious, though not necessarily atheistic nor would there be a one world religion. People would blindly follow authority to the point where a person who has committed a "crime" that would warrant the death penalty would calmly allow themselves to be led away by police forces without a struggle. Science and technology would be strictly policed to avoid any industrial revolutions that could upset the status quo. Censorship would be everywhere in order to prevent people from remembering ideas like "revolution" or "dictatorship" or "individual liberty". Governments and economies would be similar to China, with limited free market that is largely controlled by Government socialism.
Unless these people think that they're acting out Biblical prophecy. In that case, they could actually be trying to mantel the role of the "Antichrist" in order to force Jesus to resurrect and lead the endtimes, playing the role of the bad guy in order to bring about a paradise on Earth.
But it'll never work. Either power struggles between the elites will result in a "civil war" between the new monarchies or an outside force (some sort of new religion or a revitalized religion like Islam or Christianity) will rouse up enough people to throw it all off balance

In all likelihood, the robots will be humanity. We're going to reach a future where we are encouraged to fuse ourselves with our technology and become a cyborg of sorts. We may not get super strength, or laser beams like what some people would picture, but rather the ability to connect around the world to a 'global' mind of sorts, or a hive mind to be more specific. How much technology would it take before a human isn't human anymore?
