NEW MORALITY MAN

An excerpt from his weekly column at the Mail on Sunday:
http://hitchensblog.mailonsunday.co.uk/

Maybe our real enemy isn't ISIS...

The cross-eyed prejudice of this country’s chattering classes sometimes gets beyond all bearing.

We all loathe Islamic State. We were all rightly dismayed when these maniacs captured Palmyra, one of the great monuments of human civilisation, murdered its chief curator and began to smash it up.

Yet when the Syrian army, backed by Russian air power, succeeded in driving the fanatics out of Palmyra, the media could hardly bring themselves to put it anywhere further forward than page 94, and the politicians, always ready to say rude things about IS, could barely utter a word.

It’s this kind of thing that makes me wonder whether the alleged hostility of the West to IS is genuine, or a pose.

It often seems to me that they loathe Russia, and Syria’s President Assad, much more. Which side are we really on in this conflict?

Will ISIS and AQ ever join, or will AQ watch as ISIS crumbles in Syria

If the non-moderate AQ rebels and ISIS had collaborated, they could have held more territory, but the AQ decided to keep their offensive stance against ISIS, and ISIS decided to keep their offensive stance against AQ, and ISIS is losing territory fast, while AQ just sits and watches. Eventually AQ will lose as well, but they have movements across the whole world, while ISIS really only had Syria and Iraq, and some of Libya and Nigeria

Russia has deployed its most advanced tactical missile system, the Iskander-M, in Syria in the last few days, debkafile reports exclusively from its military and intelligence sources. The Russian Iskander is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead and has never been made available to any foreign army for operational use.
No nuclear-capable surface missiles were deployed in any Arab country bordering on Israel since 2007 when Chinese DF-21 missiles were installed in Saudi Arabia.

The Russian missiles (NATO codenamed SS-26) have a range of 500 kilometers (see map).

The Iskander’s transfer to the Kaliningrad enclave in the Baltic Sea in 2015, putting it in range of Central and Western Europe, was a mark of heightened tensions with the West over Russia’s intervention in Ukraine.

Its deployment in Syria, amid a bloody five-year civil war, is a game changer in terms of the balance of strength in the Middle East. Its range - from the Russian Hmeimim base in western Syria - covers all of Israel up to the southern town of Beersheba, points in Turkey up to the outskirts of Ankara and the eastern and central Mediterranean including Cyprus.

The Russian decision to scale down its forces in Syria was only part of the picture: Warplanes and bombers are being pulled out, but as fast as they leave, they are being replaced by the most advanced missile systems in the Russian arsenal.

On March 15, Moscow announced that the formidable S-400 ground-to-air missiles would stay in Syria after the withdrawal. Ten days later, on March 25, the Iskander-M systems were in place. The Iskander-M is rated the top short-range ballistic missile in the world.

The combination, say debkafile’s military sources, makes the Hmeimim base the hub of the most sophisticated missiles in the Middle East

>Doubt they actually shipped nukes there.
Nukes are definitely in Hamimeh. You don't ship duds there, it'll just escalate things without giving you an advantage.

When NATO sees Iskander on the Syrian coast, they WILL assume that it is nuclear armed and will then escalate by placing their own tactical nukes nearby. If Russia sent a dud, all they've done is allow the other side to escalate for free.
>>
>>69852766
>Russia has next to no influence there. It's about China if your angle is correct.
You have a point, but Russia is present via military cooperation.

>>69852122
The question is:

When will we see the video of Iskander obliterating Raqqa?
>>
>>69853218
Never as it'd yield valuable data on Iskander missile parameters. It's there to make anyone interested in amassing an army to get into Syria uneasy.
>>
>>69853029
>Iskanders can carry other warheads, but yeah it might be a tarpit for the west to keep more focus there and get distracted from Asia.
That's definitely the move as I read it but it's pointless. China has always been the target, US never took Russia seriously and it's pretty much defeated at this point but taking it out is too dangerous.

US wants to ruin Syria and force Russia to deal with the mess. They're done riding ISIS/AQ/FSA and now are using the Kurdish mountain shitskins as their last proxies. Who knows how long that will last for. Enough to destroy the Russian economy, then you'll see Putin out and the Russian nation break up. US will win without even putting up a fight.

>Russia will start the USA vs China confrontation in China's camp after all.

Could be, but I doubt they'd really fire it aggressively. We saw that the Russians are willing to have their jets shot down without really reacting other than banning a bunch of fruit sales in anger and then supporting US proxies (YPG) to the detriment of their own allies as "revenge".

>Kurds only fight for themselves
Kurds have no strategic vision, because they never had a nation. They've never been a civilization. When you talk about even the smallest country in Europe, it has justification for its existence, the Kurds are essentially gypsies. As such, they will always be used by an outside party and never for themselves. What binds them together is tribalism and they will sign up to whoever the strongest power in the world that's willing to cooperate with them is.

During the cold war, that power was the Soviet Union. They signed up and acted as its proxies against Turkey (NATO). Today, the shoe is on the other foot but Russia still thinks they can turn back time, it's hilarious.

I honestly have not seen any regime that is more incompetent and corrupt than Putin's regime.

>As for ruining Syria and forcing Russia to deal with the mess, it's already heavily hinted that China and Iran will rebuild it.
I doubt China will take on any project as big as that. Syria lost $200 billion in infrastructure alone. Russia probably made $10 billion or so off bribes to enforce ceasefires (2012 being the biggest one) whenever the Syrian army was winning. Who's the biggest loser out of this, other than the Syrian people?

Russia. It sold its friends down the line and now the chickens are coming home to roost.

You can screen cap this, by 2018 Russia will have not a single friendly country it can call on for political support and this will include China.

>Wait, they used some of their newest fighters and bombers too, the point was to show them off to secure sales in Algeria and other places worth more than the whole campaign itself
You know what the conclusion of the campaign was?

Do not rely on Russia for weapons acquisition if you're in a precarious situation. Syria paid Russia up front for a lot of arms in 2008. None of them arrived by 2011 and they deliberately withheld the S-300 delivery until after the Turkish jet shoot down.

That Russian arms are effective is questionable. They used mostly dumb bombs with a toy system that's meant to compensate for wind and so on but as we saw from the videos it never hit its target, it was always off by about 10-30 meters.

Even hitting stationary tankers they had to use about 8 bombs for every truck. That means 8 sorties per target for a given load, at that point the smart bombs the US offers become CHEAPER than what Russia can pull off with dumb bombs.

And no one buys smart bombs from Russia, they've never been battle proven. Actually if they used any in Syria then why haven't they shown videos of it?

Then you see US hardware even the Iraqis are using hitting the ground within half a meter of the designated target. Video after video of precision weaponry the likes of which drunk Boris could never hope to produce.

Russia is a joke and China knows it. That's why I guarantee they will drop it like a dead weight once its weakened enough that Siberia looks like it's ripe for the picking.

I doubt it's been influenced by the Russian shit show. I don't doubt Russia has superior air-to-air and ground-to-air capabilities. But when it comes to air-to-ground they're pretty much failures.

Not a single bombing campaign in Syria by Russia actually changed anything on the ground. It's only been the T-90s and air-to-air protection provided by Russian sorties near the Turkish border.

How convenient for Russian weapon manufacturers that they never show a single gunsight view. There's no way to tell how many sorties those blown up buildings took to hit.

>If you will remember, Israel was blowing up the weapons in transit before they reached Syria.
That never actually happened except in Debka. The weapons were never delivered.

We all like an underdog story but the fact is Russia is a big dud and the Syrian campaign proves it. I really feel sorry for the countries siding with Russia against NATO. Armenia is going to get fucked up the ass with Erdogan supporting Azerbaijan (and with NATO behind him).

The score so far is Turkey 1 - 0 Russia despite all the Russian bravado about making Turkey pay. I think you'll find Turkey with a hat trick soon when Russia tries to save both Syria and Armenia. It's just not gonna happen.

It's amazing, is it not? The Saudi military, the ksa, one of the most well-founded and Western backed(training, weapons, and etc.) Is completely incapable of staving off an underfunded, under equipped, poorly trained fighting force known as the houthis. That's what Iran is for. Betwen Turkey, Syria and Iran it's all in their mutual interest that the aggressive Kurds are curb stomped. Most Kurds in Turkey don't want anything to do with them, they've been getting zero support in the big cities. On the contrary, the population has turned on them.

If they lose in Syria, it will isolate them in Iraq where US forces are heavily garrisoned. Their defeat in Turkey is just a matter of time.

The Zionist Plan for the Middle East, also known as the Yinon Plan, is an Israeli strategic plan to ensure Israeli regional superiority. It insists and stipulates that Israel must reconfigure its geo-political environment through the balkanization of the surrounding Arab states into smaller and weaker states.

Reach of a "Greater Israel"When viewed in the current context, the war on Iraq, the 2006 war on Lebanon, the 2011 war on Libya, the ongoing war on Syria, not to mention the process of regime change in Egypt, must be understood in relation to the Zionist Plan for the Middle East. The latter consists in weakening and eventually fracturing neighboring Arab states as part of an Israeli expansionist project.

“Greater Israel” consists in an area extending from the Nile Valley to the Euphrates.

Israeli strategists viewed Iraq as their biggest strategic challenge. This is why Iraq was outlined as the centerpiece to the balkanization of the Middle East and the Arab World. In Iraq, on the basis of the concepts of the Yinon Plan, Israeli strategists have called for the division of Iraq into a Kurdish state and two Arab states, one Shiite and the other Sunni.

The Atlantic, in 2008, and the U.S. military’s Armed Forces Journal, in 2006, both published widely circulated maps that closely followed the outline of the Yinon Plan. Aside from a divided Iraq, the Yinon Plan calls for a divided Lebanon, Egypt, and Syria. The Yinon Plan also calls for dissolution in North Africa and forecasts it as starting from Egypt and then spilling over into Sudan, Libya, and the rest of the region.

“Greater Israel” requires the breaking up of the existing Arab states into small states. The plan operates on two essential premises. To survive, Israel must

become an imperial regional power, and
must effect the division of the whole area into small states by the dissolution of all existing Arab states.

Small here will depend on the ethnic or sectarian composition of each state. Consequently, the Zionist hope is that sectarian-based states become Israel’s satellites and, ironically, its source of moral legitimation… This is not a new idea, nor does it surface for the first time in Zionist strategic thinking. Indeed, fragmenting all Arab states into smaller units has been a recurrent theme.

Viewed in this context, the war on Syria is part of the process of Israeli territorial expansion. Israeli intelligence working hand in glove with the US, Turkey and NATO is directly supportive of the Al Qaeda terrorist mercenaries inside Syria.

The Zionist Project also requires the destabilization of Egypt, the creation of factional divisions within Egypt as instrumented by the “Arab Spring” leading to the formation of a sectarian based State dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Let us also put into perspective that the houthis do not have a functional air force, are fighting a war with al-qaeda, ISIS, and the hadi-forces; while the ksa has a functional air force, does not have an external enemy(barring the houthis), and has the support of the Western nations. If the pri-hadi forces were to collapse and officially pledge allegiance to the pro-saleh houthis, we would actually bear witness an expansionist effort... An effort that would result in annexation of large sections of Saudi Arabian land... It is very possible that we may, in the near future, witness the birth of greater Yemen.

ISIS IS ISRAEL, ISIS is Israel Secret Intelligence Service, it is a covert Mossad Army, a proxy army of Israel and it's goal is to drive Muslims out of Greater Israel. But now Russia has landed Syria and conducted the first airstrikes against the enemies of Assad. This portends the END OF the drive for GREATER ISRAEL WHICH ENCOMPASSES MUCH OF SYRIA.

DOOM ON FOR JOOS - PUTIN ENTERS THE MIDDLE EAST

Embattled Syria will now quickly drive out the Jew proxy invaders. As Syria is retaken (in as little as a matter of weeks) and ISIS pushed back into Iraq, they will be faced by Shias with Iran support to the east. Iran will join up with Russia in Baghdad, and the entire northern Levant will now be off limits to Jew and his evil proxy army. A giant military pincer like move is in the making.

THE END OF GREATER ISREAL IN SIGHT

The first Russian airstrikes on 30 Sep 2015 mark the beginning of the end of the Greater Jew Rothschild Pet State Project. Israel is the plantation of Rothschild, it is how a Jew central banker owner created his own state right Middle East near the oil corridor. Israel is the dog of Rothschild - it's job is not so much as a nation for Jews as much as it is used for criminal purposes.

GREATER ISRAEL OVERLAPS OIL CORRIDOR

Ratchild doesn't give a rat's ass who gets killed in the upcoming Apocalypse. If Jews were smart, they'd take him out and get rid of the Likud war party - but they won't because in the heart of hearts of the Jew is a raping ape. So liberal Jews can see what's coming and they are moving to places like California.

Oil prices have collapsed again - just as we are going into the new depression. The world has excess oil, new discoveries since the 1979 Iran Revolution in Canada and Venezuela have added so much more oil that the problem now is excess oil. The center of the petroleum driven world has moved across the pond, potential Venezuela reserves dwarf Saudi Arabia - which is being pumped dry.

Nobody cares about the kurds you cunt, not as long as the Sunni Arab cancer still working exists in middle East. The only people who care about muh kurds are Turks, and they're known for being unable to detect and deal with real threats.

As long as al Saud is in power and Israel exists Kurds aren't a threat worth more attention.

For the time being, they're on the same side.

Here's to the hope it stays that way, for Syria's sake but, unfortunately, they have different backers. Take that any way you wish.

this is true, and it's the only legitimate reason for believing in a SAA vs YPG battle. but no such thing has happened yet since the war started in 2011, so It's hard to believe that something like that will start up now after 5 years of peace in a brutal war.

They're technically already in there. I mean, not technically. They're literally already inside. They jsut need to break the seige (which is actually already breaking against just BASED ZAHREDDINE's few hundred men).

To add to that, the ISIS positions are being threatened now both north and south by SAA and SDF. It will be a cakewalk, even more so for someone of the caliber of the Tiger, but the problem is, getting there before the SDF, which is significantly much closer, and the fact that the SAA still needs to go through 1 town to get there.

I think the reason for that is more existential.

Before recently, the threat of both """"""moderate terrorists"""" and ISIS was very real. the YPG itself had allied itself with some brigades of """"moderates""""" to get by, and simply adding more enemies, and the SAA was already struggling with too much land, too few troops, and SEVERELY few GOOD troops.

Adding an enemy on your list which would be happy enough to be neutral is just plan retarded. "Roachish", if you will.

However, now that the tables have turned and the SDF and SAA are emerging as the big dogs and possible winners of the conflict, the backers may (or may not) have some interesting plans for the future. I certainly can't tell.

The sympathetic side of me hopes the war keeps winding down to nothing, but another side is cautious, or even excited to see "the next phase" of the war.

Honestly, I think it's more likely that a diplomatic solution of some sort can be decided. Mostly because there's a Russian diplomatic corps laying the foundations and the West is currently wallowing in their own shit, so they're a little too busy to focus on spreading chaos in Syria.

BUT LET'S SAY

Hypothetically, the SAA does war YPG, I'm betting North Syria Kurds, all big cities = SAA (including Deir and Raqqa).

Just sayin'.

If that was possible I would weep with joy. Sadly there aren't enough armenians or greeks left to make that work. The Roaches were quite thorough in removing them.

THE ETERNAL ANGLO STRIKES AGAIN

>British Collusion with Sectarian Violence
https://syria360.wordpress.com/2016/04/03/british-collusion-with-sectarian-violence/

Over 13 years ago, in March 2003, Britain and the US led an illegal and unprovoked war of aggression against Iraq, a fellow UN member state. Such a war is deemed to be, in the judgment of the Nuremberg trials that followed World War Two, “not only an international crime” but “the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole.”

YPG are fucked up, they are sourrounded by T*rkroachers and ISIS
They know that if they want to survive they have to at least pretend to help SAA , because when the war will end , they can even get the autonomy of a region , and for centuries this was the only goal of they ancestors.
Yeah kurds just want to have a land to live in, they're good fighters and are helping SAA by attacking ISIS , ISIS is like Germany in 1944 , having 2 front open , being bombed and insulted all around the world.
