"Social Security payouts will outstrip its tax revenues after 2021, and the Social Security Trust Funds will run out of money in 2033, at which point benefits would have to be reduced."

The majority of the country has no liquid assets. NONE. If you're parents are upper-middle class with significant home equity, then you can probably offset the fact that you won't get SS with inheritance. They also helped us by only having one or two kids each.

However, this assumes they do not have 2nd and 3rd mortgages, outstanding taxes, and the property is actually able to be sold, or you're in a position to live there and can carry the taxes and other carrying costs.

The VAST majority of Americans are not going to inherit much at all from their parents except for credit card debt, and two cars with 100,000 miles each.

My hope is that even though the overall population will be pozzed, there will be enough states with significant white majorities left that the Senate will be able to push devolution of federal authority by basically starving the federal government of money and returning more authority to the states.

This will be the only way to avoid a full on banana republic dominated by a federal government made entirely of blacks and hispanics.

The only time in history a government has willingly and peacefully given up power (whether to local gov'ts or to private enterprise) was Chile under Pinochet. And they called that a miracle for a reason.

Unfortunately, I just don't see our government ever say "hey, if we continue on this path, we'll destroy ourselves, so we need to fix this now." Nope, all the retard entitlement-slaves will continue clamoring for the gibsmedats, and we'll continue being self-propelled off the cliff.

The only outcome I can see is revolution. The choice is whether that revolution will be for the better or for the worse.

Because the government is by their own definition running a ponzi scheme

>A Ponzi scheme is an investment fraud that involves the payment of purported returns to existing investors from funds contributed by new investors. Ponzi scheme organizers often solicit new investors by promising to invest funds in opportunities claimed to generate high returns with little or no risk. In many Ponzi schemes, the fraudsters focus on attracting new money to make promised payments to earlier-stage investors to create the false appearance that investors are profiting from a legitimate business.

so what happened? did you sell the house and such? pay the debt?
>>
>>69824893
It's always been a scam
There is no "Trust Fund", all money collected went into the general fund and politicians spent it
Started off with 50 workers to every 1 collecting
Was supposed be an insurance plan of last resort, no pension, you didn't save, guy dies and leaves his wife with nothing, originally it was to care for destitute old women
1930's lifespan was a lot lower, not everyone was expected to live long enough to collect
No means test, if you are a millionaire you get to collect, should have a wealth limit attached, including your home, before you get to collect you should sell and downsize
People used to be responsible, put money away, invest for retirement, now they spend it all and then some
Then the Big G added, SSI for dependent families, for old immigrants who never paid in, then added SSDI, a big old government tit, using money from my pocket
Now it is most people's only retirement, let someone else pay for me
Most collecting SSI get back all they paid into it in about 5 years
Once all the " Boomers" are 65 in 2030 therw will be 3 collecting for every 1 working, even if you suck at math it should be pretty clear to you
Now you know why all the insiders want open borders and all the illegals made legal, the newly arrived have lots of kids, we need lots of young workers to pay for the oldies
They have been kicking the can down the road for a long time, now the road is about to end at a cliff
If they had invested all collections from the start the "Trust Fund, Lock Box" would have trillions in it now
Wait until there are not enough on the bottom to pay, that's when a revolution occurs, we have 10-15 years before the fun starts

As of 2015, 53% of the federal budget is for Social Security (25%), Medicaid, Medicare (28%)

65% of all federal spending is mandatory, they have no options due to promised obligations

Of the 35% that remain, beginning fiscal year 2017 10% will go to interest on the national debt

Defense spending is 11% of what remains

Now you 25% to spend on everything else

Good luck

Typical conservatives man. They fuck everything up when they're in office. Then blame Democrats.

This is why you motherfuckers can't be trusted with the economy, or with national security for that matter.

>If boomers had really paid into the system their entire life why has national debt gone up across the west over their lifetime
>thinking the government left this money alone to accrue interest

The problem is the government decided it was ok to us the money in the social security trust fund for multiple over projects. It then went from a savings/trust to relying on incoming payments to cover expenditures. This was all good until the number of people paying in started to fall well below those receiving benefits. This is why I don't believe any politician when they give an estimate for how much their program will cost. It might start with one figure, but through legislative horseshit it will end up being used for other things or costing multiples more than it was supposed to, i.e. "Bernie's programs won't raise taxes on any but the upper 5%"

So the government will spend more on social security than it has in the past. Oh boo hoo, a bigger deficit. That's not a problem. The only true problem is whether or not the resources exist to support the retiring boomers.

government borrows from SS to pay for things from the general fund.

SS is full of IOUs.

that's basically socialized medicine which isn't really a particularly good solution in turning over all kinds of money and power to government

blue collar is fucked because they work young for shit without understanding the long term destruction they are doing. living paycheck to paycheck is really just paying to work.

bottom line is we live in a world of theft through obfuscation and government control pushed along by economists that shit themselves over people saving money themselves and actually understanding their situation. most are supposedly too smart to just be unwitting accomplices. a very corrupt and disgusting world.

Import more Mexicans and Muslims whose tax will pay for retirement benefits.

This is completely without any faults and is working tremendously well in Europe with absolutely no downside.
>>
>create a ponzi scheme called Social Security, which relies on more workers entering than exiting
>outsource every job to foreign countries
>wonder why social security collapsed????

Of course it doesn't help politicians have been stealing from that honeypot for years and years, but it was bound to fail inevitably.

Hahahahhaha. Welcome to Western Europe/Australia.

>Raise taxes

>Raise retirement age

>Remove benefits

>...Except for Boomers, who will claim the majority of taxes in their welfare payments and medical care

>can get out of the game when their body starts giving way
Supposedly this already exists with SSI Disability payments, but they are really hard to qualify for, especially if you don't use a talented Jew lawyer Shecklestein to win the SSI Disability approval game (for only a modest price, Goy).

Nah, you just need a compliant doctor. Like that entire town that was on disability because the town doctor decided, 'there are no jobs here and these people are too poor/ignorant to learn a new job somewhere else...they must be disabled!'

redirect a portion of the military budget into social security for 10-20 years until the glut of old people die off

problem fucking solved, it isn't hard
>>
If Social Security isn't a ponzi scheme, then why can't all young people be moved into individual private accounts instead of paying Social Security Taxes?

If all these old people who "Have been paying into the system their whole lives" deserve their Social Security, what's wrong with removing the young people from also paying into the system?

Please for the love of God US move to private retirement plans before It's too late

It's like you forgot that while repopulation numbers among whites are shrinking, third world migration and birth rates are skyrocketing.

This has been common knowledge for a long time. Hell we debated it in my AP US Gov class 9 years ago.

Either you need to
A. Raise the age/qualifications for payout
B. Raise the tax
C. Lower the amount paid out

Guess which one people are willing to accept :^)

Be careful; Australia is in the same boat.

Superannuation is meant to fix that.

But, mate, watch out in the future as the big pool of super piles up, and every fucking greedy pollie will not be able to resist the urge to wipe out your super account.

Best thing you can do is to avoid working as an employee. Work as a contractor, so you don't get your income stolen from you and locked away in a super account. Its not safe there!
>>
>>69835065

Yeah, I plan for the amount needed to live comfortably assuming a 2-4% interest, all bond portfolio. Just to be safe. May or may not reach it, but it means I save as much as possible.

Any government aid or wealth creation through common stocks in retirement is just a bonus.

Most people I know haven't given a thought to feeding themselves after they get old, so sucks to be them I guess.
