I literally did the math on the amount killed over the course of the Holocaust, researched the census methods used before & after the wars. All using data from respected sources (not holocaust denying sources, stay away from those - there's a lot of bogus stuff).
After that I realised how logistically improbable all of this killing was and how the counting methods were very flawed.
Then I researched explanations for how it was all meant to be achieved and that was that. I realised the Holocaust & all of those that present facts on the matter need to be questioned.

Most concentration camps were small prisoner camps next to construction sites, factories or mines and were housing forced labourers.

The definition will change as needed to fit the argument, and by accepting the catchall, you immediately are giving him the upper hand and are put on the defensive even before the argument even starts.
