Not exactly. I believe a few 100,000 died, many of natural causes. Of all the claims made by Holocaust supporters, I've agreed with about 1 in 5. For example, I don't believe Jews were made into lampshades and soap. I do believe they were rounded up and put in concentration camps. I don't think gas chambers were used much, if at all. I think Hitler's final solution was deportation.
I think Jews suffered a lot in WWII, but the Holocaust seems to have been greatly exaggerated.

I believe because, even if the number 6 million isn't completely accurate (I think it was more like 5 million) it represents an important symbol in human history to treat each other with compassion.
It was also the final persecution of the Jews before they could finally get a home. It reminds us every day not to be anti-semitic or prejudicial against a particular race.
