Chinese, Germans, Russians and Americans are all rated as very annoying by people in the tourism industry, but the reality is that those are just the people most likely to be abroad and recognized as a specific nationality, so when you meet someone annoying, the odds are he's one of the above, simply because most tourists are.

I Traveled to Victoria and Vancouver Canada in 2012. (For the metropolitan EuroTrash here that's farther for me than London is from Istanbul.) When we arrived I went to the Olympics Pavilion and they invited me into a theater to watch a short video reenactment and retelling of What they described as Canada's most hallowed military feat (it was the anniversary for the War of 1812.) They started the presentation off building up the tension of an impending battle and fort raid. Now my history is not so great on that war so I figured they'd have at least a handful of victories. I had my popcorn ready expecting some Canadian adrenaline, heroism, and patriotism.
Then in the movie, the fort's armory caught fire, and both sides retreated and called it a draw. See battle of York? It's a footnote here in the U.S.
I was so let down but I couldn't stop laughing because it was so pathetic. By the way I can't lie, both Victoria and Vancouver were excellent places to visit and overall I had few complaints.
