Dugin is an interesting character. The whole idea of radical traditionalism as the fourth political ideology is interesting to consider. I don't think it's true or valid, but I can definitely see a new political ideology emerging in the coming years to combat the established order, fusing elements of nationalist fascism and socialism. The world is globalizing too fast to not spark a major reaction.

The whole essence of Eurasianism sounds a bit too idealistic and unworkable. Eurasia contains too many diverse groups and cultures that would conflict with one another.

The people who fantasize about a single Nation from the Dnieper, to China, to Japan are delusional. And people who advocate for rapid miscegenation, are just as destructive as Jewish academics in the west. Multipolarity at least admits of the possibility and many sovereign entities, and a long as they respect the geographic and genetic integrity of their neighbors, there are enough resources to make the whole thing work. Maybe after 1000 years of SLOW miscegenation you will see some organic ethnogenesis, and people will form a genuine Eurasian identity. But those changes should not happen at a pace to allow living memory or a sense of change because that will cause violence (see: Europe).

When I speak of Eurasianism, I go a bit further than Dugin because I don't share is delusion that the Russian Empire can effectively be reconstituted under a new ideology. 'Eurasianism' is just his euphemism for Russian Imperialism. He imagines this new order will achieve political and economic parity with the likes of China. This will never happen. What will happen is the Chinese will have more and more of an influence in northern and central Asia, and Russians will start to look towards China for economic opportunity instead of the US, and Europe. This shouldn't scare Russians though, because more of them are likely to migrate towards Turkic and Sinic lands than the other way around. It's not like Moscow will become a Chinese city.
