Currently Trump is polling quite well in some winner-take-all states such as New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, California, and New Jersey. These are just ones that have data out. With these alone he gets 427 of the 482 he needs to win the nomination. Wisconsin's 42 would be really nice, but are not critical.
Why? Because this is to say nothing of the other 11 states and their 342 delegates. Most of these others are proportional allocation and we can imagine that he'll get the other 55 he needs (55/342 = 16% in proportional).
So Trump is almost certain to clench the nomination before the RNC meets in July. The unfortunate thing is that he probably won't win Wisconsin. Had Trump won Ohio and gone on to win Wisconsin, that would be a total of 108 more delegates and this wouldn't even be a discussion.
Either way. Don't believe the media shills telling you this race is still even close. Trump has as much chance of losing in the remaining races as Bernie has of winning.

Anyway WI has 24 district delegates, 10 unbound, 3 party leader dels, and one each for the governer, U.S. senate, house, "one chamber" (?), "all chambers" (?) for a total of 42. It is apparently WTA by district and statewide but I don't know the split there. So Trump could take some delegates out of WI but it will be like the reverse of MO.
As for CA that is also by district and statewide WTA. 10 unbound, 159 district delegates, and 3 party leader delegates. So I guess my assumption that Trump can get all 172 is naive. Still possible if he wins every district. We'll have to see more thorough polling as CA's vote approaches.

That's not how NY works. There are 95 delegates. If someone gets >50% for the state then they get 14 delegates, otherwise the 14 is proportional. The rest of the delegates are decided by congressional districts. Each district is 3 delegates, and are proportional unless a candidate gets >50% in that district then they get all three. Trump will not get all 95 in NY. I would consider 70 delegates a huge victory. If your math to him getting 1237 relies on him sweeping New York then your math is wrong.
