How do we fix it?
Remove the medical training and equipment and lights and make it so ambulances can't run red lights or have people pull over, also make it so you can't fit a person laying down on a stretcher

We leave it the way it is you fuckwit. An uber driver is an unemployed person making less than minimum wage driving a mid-2000's nissan.
An ambulance is a mobile medical care station manned with college educated paramedics with extensive training. It is stocked with expensive medical supplies and drugs capable of stabilizing a person who would otherwise die. Ambulances respond so quickly generally because they are not overly regulated and are paid if they can be the first responded to a given emergency.
Only letting ambulances charge uber rates which are less than cab fare would put them on a shoestring budget which could only afford a patient an unemployed guy with a nissan from the 00's who's clearly stoned.

It's never really discussed, but the US does have some 320 million+ citizens living there, many more illegally. Smaller nations don't have these issues so much, whereas its clear bigger ones do, such as in China and India.
Not that its a solution, but if the US was split into multiple countries, would issues like these disappear?
