I commute for work and have to pass through this town every day, its a blight on the road between scarborough and york. It sits right slap bang in the middle of the gypsy's annual touring routes, always slowing shit down with their horses, invading green spaces with caravans and never cleaning up after themselves. Each summer, the papers always have "disappearing" livestock and "disappearing" farmer headlines each time they come through.
That and the only road in and out, the A64, is closed nearly 50% of the time.
