I really wish Atheists would take what they learnt in science into this arena, as just look at what you are doing, that is so clearly a flawed conclusion.
I am a man of science, however science teaches us to act with caution, and hence I caution everyone is jumping to conclusions and ending up with egg on your face should some mechanic in quantum physics for example be so inherently random that we can't say for sure if there is an entity behind it or not.
As such instead of flaming people for what they believe (a favorite pastime for the fedoras) I just live and let live, and simply present both sides if asked, by saying the normal reasonable thing. "I am open to the existence of religion, but not convinced one way or another with the lack of available data at this moment".

You underestimate the space between the Earth and the Moon.
Our current understanding between them is that a Mars size object struck Proto-Earth around 4.5B years and the debris of that collision formed our current Earth and Moon. Because of the physics of said encounter the Moon has slowly, at a rate of 3.78cm (the same rate our finger nails grow), grown farther away from the Earth. To take that into perspective, the Moon was a mere 22,500km away from the Earth at it's time of formation.
So the fact of that the Moon is going farther away from the Earth pretty much proves that the Earth is much older than 6k years.
