Bachelors are usually like 900 minimum. With 2 roommates you'd probably get it at 500-550 minimum. 600-700 is too low to live downtown. Even outside of the downtown industrial core you wouldn't survive on that.
Toronto isn't that great and it's really expensive. If you were to move here. Anywhere but downtown on your budget. But if you truly insist, I'd suggest anywhere on college or bloor I guess.

Yeah sometimes it's expired. I make sure to check on the cans, boxes, etc when I'm there and then I just swap. But ususally those dates aren't all that important. Like cereal for example. Sometimes the ceral is expired by a few months but idc, it's still good. It just might go stale a little faster than usual that's all. But like I said I just make sure to check and if it's something crazy, like I've had soup cans from 2 years expired, then obviously I swap it np. I dunno who the assholes are that donate expired food ffs.
