All those numbers are fucking fake. But anyone suggesting taxes go up is a fucking retard.

You need to be a massive corporation to hire people at this point, because small businesses are being strangled to death by existing government interference. Bernie's proposal is to strangle the big businesses to death so everything will be free.

Trump's proposal is no national income tax for people with low income. Trump's plan would elevate people out of poverty while Sanders' plan would bring more people into poverty so they can keep voting for socialism. Clinton has no plan, Cruz is just echoing whatever Trump says about proposals plus whatever Fox News says about Trump.

Current taxes would take more than that. Either way, the government is going to take more than half because you're not high-ranking enough to start claiming major exemptions.

The print shop where I used to work had to pay thousands a year for a license to use ink, because air pollution. We sold business cards for a few dollars a stack, or fliers likewise, or stacks of posters for a few cents per piece if you're a big spender.

The government takes its share of your money, then takes its second share, then its third share and so on. Sprawling factory complexes probably payed the exact same dollar amount to these shakedown artists as this apartment-sized print shop did.

It's not about the $10 you pay at any one moment. It's the fact that you're expected to pay this amount thousands of times just for the privilege of selling your services to customers.

This is why Trump is on the rise. He's nationalist as fuck, and supports tarriffs and a progressive tax, which allows the middle-class and small businesses to compete; whithout going full commie and taxing every decent person so Jose and Maria can shit-out 16 future drug dealers and feed them on EBT; or trying to shame white males and promote 4th-wave feminism.

OP's image is bullshit-with-numbers supplied by a closet Hillary supporter.

This should not be interpreted to mean that taxes aren't too high presently. Present taxes will take a hell of a lot more than 30% of 200k, iPad communists with no jobs are pretending $200k means two overseas vacations a year. In California, $200k means $100k for the 'public' and $50k for you. The other $50k? Fuck knows.

Then consumption taxes are through the roof like the rest of the world outside of US, so good luck getting much out of the petroleum engineering degree you earned while your drunk buddies were majoring in Women's Studies and Psychology.

That is, without leaving California.

This is the problem with fuck-you levels of taxation.

>>
>>69752880
Small businesses can't compete when taxes and mandatory insurance goes through the roof; all of which due to govt. policy.

Big corporations are able to buy-off politicians and thus wield the power of the state to crush opposition; it just so happens that like 80% of the "corporatists" you speak of are Democrat bureaucrats who form symbiotic relationships the executive boards. Another occurence is when the state just flat-out threatens a big corporation with fines and lawsuits if they don't let themselves be infiltrated by bureaucrats - at which point the corporation becomes "nationalized" and beholden to the establishment of both parties. See GMC, Shell, and Goldman Sachs for examples.

I disagree - present taxes take out a lot less than the actual 28% federal taxes due to things like the standard deduction (x3 for OP image) 15% marginal tax rates on capital gains, untaxed Roth IRA contributions, untaxed income spent on things such as mortgage interest & property taxes etc.

OP's overstates the tax rate of a person making 200k.

Now considering state taxes for California, you're only paying about 7% on that 200k. I agree that the image is bullshit-with-numbers, but so are your figures.

They ought to close loopholes so that people pay actual amounts in line with the tax brackets and not a lot less.

The problem with Bernie is that he will enable NEETs.
If you're not motivated to be a productive member of society than you can suffer.

It's like the NEETs want to have a solid lifestyle without having to give anything back, even after they use up public $$$ just through the existence of public infrastructure. That is not enough though, they want universal guaranteed income (aka the leaf-toronto)

Bring Trump into the picture, and those ultra-elites will feel the vice of restricted access to America's consumer market.

I can see at least four areas on that budget where you could cut down, and as a result have more money.

I mean, you are a three person family: you, your wife, and your son/daughter, and you are living in a $700,000 home? Are you insane? Plus, Children's lessons for $5,000 a year? You have one child, that's almost $500 a month! When I was taking music lessons, it wasn't even $100 a month for a lesson every single week! Either do that shit at home, or find someone who charges less! And you're sending money to charity? At almost $200 a month? WHY!? IF YOU ARE BARELY MAKING IT THROUGH THE YEAR THEN WHY ARE YOU SENDING MONEY TO CHARITY YOU INCOMPETENT NIMBY!? Not to mention your two vacations a year. What possible reason could you have for spending $4,000 dollars on a vacation TWICE a year if this is that hard for you? Stay at home! Do things in your area! Play paintball with your kid, go hunting, teach him/her how to do something cool. Don't go down to Florida or the Keys or Cuckifornia or whatever. Not to mention your food budget. Jesus christ, $12,000 a year? When my mother was raising three kids, two of whom (including myself) were athletes, we never spent more than $400 a month, and that was only during busy times. You're spending $1,000 a month on food. WHY!? ARE YOU EATING CAVIAR OR SOMETHING!? DO YOU FINISH OFF YOUR WEEK WITH KOBE BEEF!? Cut down your fucking budget.

And where the FUCK is the investment on this? You make 200k a year, how are you not putting ANY of it in the stock market. Do you WANT to go broke? Do you have zero ambition? You have to invest or save what's made at the end of the year, it should be fucking MANDATORY!

Jesus christ, you complain about Bernie, but having zero investment, this much wasted expenditure, and all that else, I can't even believe you're not broke already. How have you had this little competence and experience with managing money!? Did you grow up in the 'hood or something!? ARE YOU A RICH NIGGER!?

Confirmed for living in a flyover state, EVERYTHING is more expensive when you live close to a major city because you want a better salary.
It's only me and my gf and we live in basically a 2 1/2 bedroom one bathroom house that's worth 600k USD with about 10k USD in property taxes.
Not to mention our almost 4k USD train tickets annually to commute to London.
Even though we are technically in London and it's only 20 mins to be in the centre.
We can't afford to live in the centre of London because multi-millionaire foreign nationals have driven the average native out of the housing market.
>>
>>69752266
>>69756608
More because I'm not done thoroughly lambasting you, you cheese-eating, money burning nincompoop.

Your total leftover at the end of the year is $5,700, ja? Well, let's do some work on that. Staying local or limiting your budget for hotels, let's cut your vacation budget by 3/4 down to $2,000 dollars. A savings of $6,000. Let's add to that the cut-down in your food budget. Cut out the filet mignon and swordfish, and we can bring you down from $12,000 a year ($1,000 a month) to $3,600 a year ($300 a month). Cut out the charity because you clearly can't afford it, and we get another $2,000 in spending. Cutting down Children's lessons to $1,200 ($100 a month) gives us $3,800 in more money to spend. Given that, we get a yield of...

*Drum roll*

$25,900 at the end of year for spending money, or the equivalent of $2,158.33 per month (approximately). Now, presumably you are not completely fucking retarded and will invest some of this: good. This should immediately go to paying off that retarded "Consumer debt" you still have, because there is literally no reason to have that and you should be ashamed that you are AT ALL in-debt with a 200k income through any source other than your mortgage. Now, when your consumer debt disappears, you'll now have $28,900 per year to spend, or just over $2,400 per month. THIS IS INVESTED. INVESTED IMMEDIATELY BY AN ADVISER NOT BY YOURSELF. The average ROI for the stock market as a whole is 7%. You would not get this from a bank even if you agreed to let Schlomo Shekelberg from Goldman Sachs anally rape you every week. The rule my grandmother always teaches is this: a third, a third, and a third. One third of your annual returns goes to short term expenditures like toys and video games. One third goes to long term expenditures like improvements on the house. One third is invested. At your year-end return you have about $9,600 to invest.

>EVERYTHING is more expensive when you live close to a major city because you want a better salary.

Exactly. People want a better salary (since it's also a status symbol in the USA) but everything costs more (especially rent) so you wind up not making as much as you think.

People need to start basing their finances off what percentage of their income is taken up by basic costs rather than their overall salary.

In the end your higher salary get's eaten up by higher costs of living, rather than being able to spend it on luxuries/lifestyle.

Hell, I know programmers/coders that work for Microsoft that still have to live on Ramen and Kool Aid since the cost of living is so ridiculously expensive in the Seattle area.

Still not done. Now, let's suppose you, like a COMPETENT little baboon, invest that $9,600. Congratulations, your annual income inflates by about $670 every year if you count capital gains. Eventually, once the capital gains tax limit is reached, you can start withdrawing that money and reinvesting it in cheaper stocks with equal or better chances of going up. Within 10-20 years, you have a decent capital gains income which can be transferred to your then hopefully still ONE child, ensuring that they have decent financial protection for their life. Even better, make sure your child gets a career in a profitable field. I don't care if my kid goes into science or business or engineering so long as he's competent, but if he wants to go into music he practices every single day and tries out for every single competition and gets the best tutor I can get, even if it's decently expensive, because that is the only way to make music a profitable career. Art, history, "women's studies" are all absolute no-no's. If he loves it he can get a well-paying job and come back to study it, but he's not going to get a degree in a field he has no chance of making money in.

You make sure that your kid understands these financial principles, and that you help him through his life with plenty of advice and support, and congratulations: you have formed a successful family line. Within two-three generations your family will have built up a strong enough network that they could make a play for becoming upper-class, or at least upper-middle class.

That's funny, I currently have £30,000 invested in low risk investments and I stand to gain about £1500 after this shitty gear.

Well one, you are a crumpet snorting, tea huffing piece-of-shit, but two my statistic for this came from a long-term average, so you do have a fair point. THAT SAID, usually the booms make up for the busts, so more likely than not we'll have a period where it's above 7% for a while.

>just get by
>2 vacations per year
yea. that's not what "just getting by" means. I make about $25,000/year and I do a lot better than "just get by"

People need to stop living way above their means. For example, there is literally no reason for a $36,000 home mortgage payment. At $3000 a month, you will definitely be living in a minimum 4br/2 ba/2 car garage unless you live in some shitty city.

Every media outlet is blatantly disregarding the fact that Trump's tax plan eliminates almost all subsidies, exemptions, and deductions, which leaves the actual retained tax income more or less in line with what we have now.

Instead of collecting $4 trillion and giving $1 trillion back (most of it to people making more than $200,000 a year), Trump wants to just take in $3 trillion in the first place.
