That Leaf is BY FAR the thing we Canadians stand and sing for in English and French in unison. I'll be damned if I see a flag without at least one Leaf on it. Perhaps we should have 13, one for each province and territory.
But the stripes will definitely be red. Fuck blue.

I don't really understand how the "le fucking leaf" meme originated. Canada's flag is pretty good in terms of vexillology. It is simple and easy to reproduce, making it a very effective national flag. If anything, America's flag is pretty ridiculous.
