As usual, people are barely educated beyond school knowledge if they don´t educate themselfs in their free time. In for average german school education, many many things are skipped that could give you any pride in the country. This is part of the "destroy nationalism/de-nazification" after WW2.
So when you go through the school system in germany, you don´t know lots of things:

Regarding school education, the average german is basically as homeless as the jews were before Israel and they behave that way. If you want to read/learn about these people, then you´d have to be in grade 11-13 (that you need in germany in order to go to university) and ALSO focus on the german language with your education (which many won´t do because the last 10 years of this subject were totally useless and stupid). The most complicated stuff tought was "Kant" if you are in grade 11-13. If you stop at grade 10 and go into the industry to learn a job you are nothing more then a mindless working done without culture, heritage and belonging.
