well i got friends in both but i would probably choose South Africa due to language and i think i would have an easier time learning Afrikaans than Portuguese. also when shit hits the fan (like it is now) i would rather hang out with the Afrikaners who have spent the past 20 years preparing for such a situation. thinking about it i would probably have more fun exploring the middle of nowheres in south africa than those of Brazil.
