When you are the working class you aren't insulated from the fucking animals who you have to live among because you can't afford to live somewhere actually nice. It's not like Barney's $15/hr is going to happen, it's just a wasted vote on some old guy who will probably last for only one term. Even if the minimum wage goes up, so do prices, it's as simple as that. Shit will be outsourced more aggressively, people will be laid off. Even in the most socialist/welfare state countries of Europe, the minimum wage is no where near $15/hr, and the idea here is preposterous.
