Had a lot of edge friends back in ye day. Most were cool, hilarious dudes. Violent tendencies but the music did that. The gaylords during metalcore's hayday made it fucking degenerate though.

I guess I've been straight edge my whole life besides trying weed a couple times years ago. I've never labeled myself as such though because it just cultivates a degenerate mindset.
