Is is fairly accurate. Violent video game does increase aggressive behaviours because of the amount of time it consumes in the lives of a young person. They are spending majority of their time in an aggressive environment. It's no surprise they immerse and adapt to their surroundings as children do and it leaks out into real life.
Young people instead of focusing on their studies are either online, or playing video games and the appeal in games is violence, its a huge market.
So Clinton is on the ball with this one, she should ban video games and make America whole again. Clinton will win.

Video games are objectively helpful to mental and physical development. In moderation.
With concerns to mental development, there are multiple studies that state children who played video games on a regular basis (usually ~10-12 hours per week) had noticeably higher reaction times, were generally faster to come to make decisions, had higher rates of retention in school, and generally scored higher on various subjects (except for subjects like English. There is literally no disparity in the two groups in such scenarios). Literally any longitudinal study you can find that studies the developmental effects of young children come to these conclusions.
Physically, there is increased hand eye coordination, and generally improved motor skills.
The only time videogames become an issue in the least is when people start spending 40+ hours a week playing video games, letting them consume there lively hood. That's the only time anything "bad" happens.

Personally, I believe that violence in video games doesn't affect children at all... at least over the age of 12-13. Proposing draconian legislation to not only prevent, but possible criminalize those who supply children with video games is much more impacting than some business man's opinion. Trump never really fleshed out an argument in that really small 13 letter twitter post. I'd prefer to hear his reasoning, justification, and plan of action more in detail before completely demonizing him... but what I am given, he is just as wrong as her.
