The only reason why saving sex for marriage was a thing in the old days is because back then, the latest age anyone got married was 17
It was very unusual to get married later then, say, 22
People married almost as soon as they awakened sexually and had kids straight away.
These days, because of capitalist society and urbanization, getting married and having kids at any point before you turn 30 years old is pointless and nigh impossible.
It's set up so that the only way you can be secure enough to have kids and keep up with your peers is to spend years studying at college, years working your way up a company, years paying off loans, years paying off a house, and then maybe you can start thinking about your existential imperative.
What happens when you have a society of young people who have no responsibilities, have no family, and are basically floating around in the rat race?
The inevitably spend their life on sex and other hedonistic pleasure.
The culture has changed to fit society.
And expecting people to wait many years to find a sexual release in unrealistic.
If you think this is undesirable, well then the only way to fix it is a complete overhaul of our society and culture so that people can get married and have kids in their teens like in the old days.
