If Hillary says nothing is going to happen to her because she didn't do anything wrong, her supporters actually believe her. This goes to show you the blind tribalism of American politics; people invest their devotion to a specific candidate and literally nothing can change their minds, not even a fucking FBI investigation.

We're just going to have to wait and see if the FBI has the balls to jail her.

That is my EXACT hope; that whatever the FBI's got on Hillary transcends the emails (pay to play arms deals vis a vis the Clinton Foundation, anyone?).

She'll never spend a day in prison, and likely won't even get indicted, but a suspension of her campaign for "health reasons" and to spend more time with her grandchildren would be music to my ears.

The excuse to put on the hold is just preposterous. Wouldn't the FBI be AIDED by having a final determination of the classified nature of the emails passing through her server? But now State needs to wait to find out if the FBI ultimately determines whether a crime has occurred by passing classified information through her server?

I think it is more protection. If State came out and said, "Yeah, that stuff was always classified", it would put more pressure on the FBI to press for indictment. Now, FBI can punt, and a while later State will quietly finish their review with a big stamp that says, "No crimes were committed here! Ask the FBI!"

Tap-Dancing Joe Biden parachutes into the convention with a tearful speech on how his dead son came to him in a dream and wants him to unite the Democratic Party = he's the nominee.

RNC - free-for-all brokered bloodbath with Kasich, Romney or Ryan coming out as the nominee.
>>
>>69649745

The establishment probably will do that as a short sighted attempt to retain control. Fact of the matter, however, is that Trump and Cruz are both anti-establishment candidates, they have had a majority of the support for months now, and if/when they are screwed over it will be the party elites flipping the bird to the majority of their electorate. That is how you get a party to implode.
>>
>>69649952
I truly don't think she'll be jailed, but if the evidence is what it appears to be and the FBI is honest, there's more than enough to pressure her into voluntarily suspending her campaign.

Of course, I also wouldn't put it past her to continue running even with an indictment - then all bets are off.

I still think the story no one's talking about is the implosion on the Democratic side - there's a hell of a lot of Bernie supporters who can't stand Hillary, and that's without factoring in the 64% of Americans who find her dishonest and untrustworthy.

Factor that in, plus the deep and visceral hatred the Republican base has for Hillary, and I truly believe whatever candidate the GOP puts out there (it won't be Trump) and Hillary's chances are grim...unless, of course, her old buddy Donald decides to run third party.

Very reminiscent of 1992, now that I think about it.

>>
>>69650699

I don't take that stuff seriously. Every nomination that isn't decided early on gets shit like that where the losing side bitches and threatens to not vote for the nominee only to wind up doing it. Clinton supporters in 2008, for example, said they would not vote for Obama in larger numbers than Sanders supporters are doing now yet look at what happened.

Also, Trump and Cruz's unlikables are as high or higher than Clinton's so that evens that playing field off the bat. On top of that, if those two are screwed out of the nomination you will be seeing a split vote on the right.
>>
>>69650901
The FBI can only make indictment recommendations; if the DOJ refuses to do so (Loretta Lynch is in Obama's pocket), then there better be a Saturday Night Massacre 2: Electric Boogaloo of epic proportions - and yes, a fucking revolt.

People also never HATED Obama the way they do Clinton (and no, the deranged menopausal PUMAs don't count); the shenanigans pulled during this election cycle certainly don't help matters. Keep in mind, too, that an unpopular Republican was coming off two terms in the White House, which definitely factored into voter turnout. The excitement for Hillary is NOT the excitement for Obama.

The common complaint of sore losers (see: 2000).

> unforced gaffe after unforced gaffe by an unlikable candidate

Welcome to presidential elections.

>with an active FBI investigation

Which, in all likelihood, will result in nothing due to either corruption, someone falling on the sword, or the FBI not having enough to recommend an indictment.

>(not to mention the ever present threat of the superdelegates who openly state they'll vote for Hillary regardless of who their state votes for)

That is how superdelegates function. Congrats on figuring that out.

Yes. Hell, even sitting president's can be arrested which was a major reason in why Nixon resigned and was why Ford pardoned him in short order.
>>
>>69652658

You honestly think the Sanders supporters will all blindly fall in line and vote for her instead of going third party, writing his name in or staying home? That complaint from 2000 was real, by the way.

And sure - the FBI's spent the past 9 months investigating this shit because "they won't have enough to recommend an indictment." - people will fall on the sword, but if you don't think whoever the GOP nominee is will have a field day with that, you're delusional.

Keep whistling past that graveyard.
>>
>>69648170
My God that article was long.
>>
>>69653007

>You honestly think the Sanders supporters will all blindly fall in line and vote for her instead of going third party, writing his name in or staying home?

No. The vocal minority will undoubtedly carry through with their threats but they also just so happen to be irrelevant. The majority of them will fall in line as opinion polling of his supporters and history suggests.

>And sure - the FBI's spent the past 9 months investigating this shit because "they won't have enough to recommend an indictment." - people will fall on the sword, but if you don't think whoever the GOP nominee is will have a field day with that, you're delusional.

They likely will but, as I said earlier, the Clintons have weathered far more difficult storms than this and withstood them and in some cases turned it against their enemies.

And the fact that GOP voter turnout has been twice the size of Democratic turnout?

Keeping in mind that the Democrats haven't managed to get a three term streak since WWII, of course.

Both major parties are fracturing. Trump has brought a strong nationalist support, bernie is bringing the free shit crowd, Hillary is a neocon and cruz is the bible thumpers. No matter the nominees, both parties are severely damaged.
>>
>>69653865

>And the fact that GOP voter turnout has been twice the size of Democratic turnout?

Suggests a prolonged, close nomination. Beyond that it doesn't mean much. I think three of the last five or six times a party had greater vote totals in their nomination went on to lose the election.

>In a year of anti-establishment fervor, when one candidate is as establishment as can be (and ranks only second behind Trump in terms of likability) - that's the candidate you think is going to the White House?

The GOP has seen that fervor with a majority of their electorate making it clear that they do not want an establishment candidate. The majority of Democrats, on the other hand, support the establishment candidate. Again, this is why the GOP is on far shakier ground than the Democrats and that is exponentially the case if/when they screw over Trump and/or Cruz at the convention.

>Democrats haven't managed to get a three term streak since WWII, of course.

They've won the popular vote all but one time since 1992 and have a more than solid position in the EC with not much suggesting that will change.

*Subject:* **Who is Barack Obama?**
*_Most_* of this appears to be true! *I shutter to
think!! *Scary guy!

**We checked this out on 'snopes.com'. It is factual.

*
If you do not ever forward anything else, please forward
this to all your contacts...this is very scary to think of what lies
ahead of us here in our own United States...better heed this and
pray
about it and share it.
THIS DEFINITELY WARRANTS LOOKING INTO. THIS COUNTRY WAS
FOUNDED, 'ONE NATION UNDER GOD'. ALMIGHTY GOD, NOT THE GOD OF THE
KORAN.
We checked this out on 'snopes.com'. It is factual.
Check for yourself.
Who is Barack Obama?
Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein
Obama was born in Honolulu , Hawaii , to Barack Hussein Obama,
Sr., a
black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel , Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white
ATHEIST
from Wichita , Kansas .
Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii . When
Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father
returned to
Kenya .
>>
His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from
Indonesia . When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to
Indonesia . Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta . He also
spent
two years in a Catholic school.
Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a
Muslim. He is quick to point out that, 'He was once a Muslim,
but that
he also attended Catholic school.'
Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it
appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father,
and that
this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama
returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any
direct influence over his son's education.
Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann
Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam Obama was enrolled in a
Wahabi
school in Jakarta .
Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the
Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western
world.
Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking
major
public office in the United States , Barack Hussein Obama has
joined the
United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim
background.
ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT
use the
Holy Bible, but instead the Koran (Their equivalency to our
Bible, but
very different beliefs)
Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected
presidential candidacy.
The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the U.S.
from the inside out, what better way to start than at the
highest level
- through the President of the United States , one of their own!!!!
Please forward to everyone you know. Would you want this
man leading our country?...... NOT ME!!!
>>
>>69654345

Sanders would be butchered in a general election. Not only are most of his skeletons still in the closet since literally no one has bothered to play hard ball with him since they don't take him seriously enough but he has the Dukakis problem of being the faggot who wants to only run a positive campaign and focus on issues. That is not even counting a litany of other issues that would be brought up.
