Of course the top 1% has too much wealth nowadays, but wealth is meant to be unequal, it gives people purpose. A large portion of the inequality is from large corporations dodging hundreds of billions in taxes by freezing the money overseas, that money doesn't go back into the economy and it doesn't get back to the lower classes. Tax dodging is something that has to be solved, but another reason for the inequality is rampant immigration, mostly illegal, which is driving down wages for those lower classes. This is on top of companies outsourcing their jobs, or even just moving to other countries.
Honestly, it makes me sort of mad when liberals defend illegal immigration as if it's a god given right, and then freak out about the minimum wage still being low. Believe it or not, there is a connection between these two.

Creating a system where our country has competitive manufacturing and corporate taxes (is lowest in the world).
