Hear me out, /pol/. You're convinced 2016 is going to be a Clinton/Trump race. You're wrong on both counts.
On the Republican side, Trump will fail to get the required delegates. The convention will be brokered and the establishment (all remaining) delegates will rally around Cruz. Cruz will become the nominee.
On the Democrat side, Bernie is going to comeback and win a majority of pledged delegates, and the superdelegates will switch sides for fear of tearing the DNC apart. Bernie will become the nominee.
What's more is, Trumpets will be so butthurt about Cruz getting the nomination, many of them will support Bernie. Meanwhile, Hillary voters will hate Cruz and vote for Bernie in a heartbeat. Bernie Sanders will be the next president of the United States.

I used to think as you do until I realized a thing: true socialists don't care that their economic models don't ever bring success. The promise of their models brings them power instead, which is even better than good governance if you're all about yourself.
