The real minds behind the modern flat earth society are not interested in the truth, they are interested in perpetuating a debate.
I doubt the people at the top believe one word of what they write down. It is all one big exercise in teaching people not to take things for granted. All "facts" are open to debate from their point of view. They can play point vs counterpoint until the end of time and keep introducing weird shit and pseudoscience just to keep the game going. It is like an elaborate form of troll science.
The problem is when young conspiracyfags get lured in and take it seriously. They are not in on the joke and don't realize the flat earth debate is carried on only for sport. It shifts from being a thought experiment to an actual belief in a conspiracy.
