WWI was not some kind of cleanup job, if not for American doughboys coming in, that war would have been much different. One if the biggest things that happened as a result of is joining WWI was we stopped selling weapons and supplies to the central powers (and we provided cheap loan and leases for the allies well throughout). Wars cannot be fought without food and ammo, which we have tirelessly provided for generations to our allies for the most fair of prices.
