It obviously hasn't been done yet. But it could be, in the future. There are haploid variations in human DNA, and we have made tremendous advancements in reading and coding genetics. If a segment of DNA was targeted, a virus with a multi-year stealth incubation period, high communicability rate, and high mortality rate could be created - which would only activate when it encountered said DNA segment. If the haploid group was missing, the virus would be harmless.
This is just science fiction for now, but in ten to twenty years of tech, and with a strongly motivated research team, it is completely possible. There have been many advances on gene editing, so ten years is not a stretch. If you are interested, here is an article about new tech in this field.
