Both of my parents were Jewish(mother still alive, but father dead) and I can tell you I was never taught anything in the way of manipulating "goyim".
I am not actually religious anymore. I consider myself agnostic atheist, but I am still ethnically Jewish. As my religious views have changed, I am torn about a Jewish state and where the line is drawn if at all between faith and secularism in our country regarding religion or ethnicity.
Most Jewish people are just like most other people: trying to make a living and survive. The people making up claims and conspiracies are the ones who are actually trying and succeeding in manipulating you.
