Not really, they were mostly lying about what the government was doing, and blaming the PM for things he had not control over in anyway.
I have totally lost faith in not only our political class but also in my fellow Canadians, whose political leanings and worldview is totally alien to me and beyond my comprehension. So I've withdrawn from watching and reading the news, stopped taking any note of the prevailing modern culture, and have become outright indifferent as to the direction this country is going. Let it happen and let those who are responsible for making it so bear the responsibility.
