The war on drugs is just a war on poverty. The only people who ever go to jail for that shit are the ones who don't have enough money to pay the lawyer and court fees it takes to get your sentencing reduced or dropped like all the middle class white kids get.
Meanwhile a brother walking down the street with a scrap of weed in his pocket (a HARMLESS PLANT) can get sent to jail for life. If he isn't shot by the police first.
The whole thing was created to keep blacks from becoming successful and sacrificing the future of an entire race to the profits of the prison-industrial complex.
