For all those who found this board in the last ~10 days due to Microsoft's Tay bullshit or the BB article-- let me explain to you how it works here, how we survive as a functioning board.
On any given topic, when someone is talking bullshit, within a few minutes we have genuinely knowledgeable people who call out idiot. We thrive bc have a higher proportion of high IQ ppl than retards. You are ruining that balance.
Today, opened pol and the very first thread was of a tranny's ass and " see this: what do?" Over 90 replies, not a single one telling him to fuck off/report it.
Not trying to come off as "exclusive or elitist," but you're ruining this board. Whatever image we have as "virgin NEET neckbeards," you'd probably be surprised to learn that a good many of us are either in top unis or graduate programs and are well above the average IQ, which even the hit piece in the last "National Review" article on us admitted.
If you wan too come here, lurk, get interested in politics, current events, ask relevant questions, etc.. fine, no issue.
However, if you'd like to post pictures of "traps" bent over and "walk in, see, what do?" then what's the point? You already have b, why not just keep it there?
I know: "You're not a Mod, you can't tell anyone what to do..." However, I'm one of the people who has been here for a long time, and one of the (relatively) few we have who make a habit of posting substantive stuff.
This recent flood due to media attention is killing us. Regulars here need to report b-tier threads, and we must reclaim what we built. If not, everyone semi knowledgeable/serious is going to leave.

I've never had a reddit account bc I hate idea of "uprooting" and other shit. However, some people here do and I think it's probably useful get info on them, since they have an entire board dedicated to "Watching us.

At times, it is serious. We get things done, we've undoubtedly helped Trump, we can be influential the rare times we are able to organize enough for a shared goal.

Mate, some advice. First, stop with the namefagging. If you like it here, you should like it for the anonymity.
To you point, we can and will never "formally organize" bc that takes away our power. People feel safe to post here bc they aren't "really" connected in a way that would leave a trail, so if some asshole ever went out and did something stupid, there would be no trail to us and thus no possibility for a witch hunt.
We organize in a way...I think someday scientists will study it.... we manage to organize and get things done without any "official" leadership. And we do it remarkably well.

I've come here since your mentioning in With Open Gates. I am not a part of hacker culture or Natsocs. I am, by and large, a liberal patriot with right leanding tendencies.
After checking out this board for reasons of pure curiosity, I was tempted to leave because several phenomena are hear are truly disgusting, but I stayed primarily because I live in Germanistan/North Korea and the level of free speach here is unbelievable. Only a dissenter in the Soviet Union could have felt something similar. So far I tried my best to contribute to it with quality threads and discussions.
But I think your concern addressing the quiality is legitimate. The amount of shilling and trash threads is high and has been increasing over the last months.
I wouldn't blame it on Tay though, you may disagree but this was incredible and I've never laughed so hard in a long, long time over. It's just the growth in general and the laziness of people to contribute with quality. And there are several contributing factors to chronic shitposts and shilling on this board.
