If you limit yourself to the religious or spiritual part of Islam, you're not really a Muslim (at least in the eyes of many devout muslims and Quran scholars)
Of course we can argue what parts are religious and what parts are political or social.

Generally, looks like Europe is WAY safer, in terms of terror threats, than many other places (admittedly some of those places are Iran or other more-or-less war zones.) And there does not seem to be much, if any, of a spike in terror attacks, though it maybe that attacks are claiming more victims per attack.
Not sure what definition they are using for "terrorist attack," among other things, but still, possibly of interest.
