There's a whole area around the Marktplatz that is exclusively Turkish, meaning all Turkish shops (5 different doner restaurants, bakeries, butcher, fish salesman, wedding dress shops, banks, telephone companies).
That area is not dangerous at all and is always well populated, but there have been several "intra-muslim" feuds, where people from 2 different clans were having blood feuds in the street, with huge fist fights, stabbing and shooting. But since they only kill each other, nobody really cares.
They do leave the Germans alone though and are happy to serve them, and the food is good and cheap.
