It is, but danes celebrate americans and your independence day, and good relations because a lot of danes immigrated LEGALLY to the US and became part of the fabric of the US..
It's not a nationally celebrated thing in Denmark, but a more local celebration in northern jutland. But is a very long tradition all the way back from 1859..
